Now that this thread has been moved to the proper forum, I'm sure if the OP would read the FAQ and lurk around this website for a bit he will realize that Flat Earth Theory is a very well developed and respectable theory.

Now, others will tell you that it's a zetetic theory.  I'm fine with that, it's their prerogative to label what is or isn't a zetetic theory and we can't argue with that.  I however, reject the zetetic ideals, but regardless of this, flat-earth theory is both a theory in the normal use and zetetic use of the word.

It may be well developed and respectable but your "evidence" still has more holes in it than swiss cheese. There is no wall of ice and people live in the arctic. The fact airplanes exist disprove your theory by heading to the west of the US to get to the East of the Earth working.

It's whichever you want it to be. It's a game to some people, it's an interesting thought experiment for some people, it's debate practice, it's religion, it's nothing to do with religion. The people who support the theory aren't puppets, they each have their own ideas.

its a tradition to keep some romantic notion alive in the face of modern technology. above anything else its for fun for both sides of the fence. thats why posters of the upper forum laugh at the new posters who get so angry like the FES was trying to do something ridiculous like force a religion on the world!
