Today we bought Rifftrax (MST3K) tickets. They broadcast live from the Belcourt since at least Mike lives in Nashville. And the Muse concert is next Friday.

William Shatner and Adam Baldwin have been teasing each other on twitter. Shatner replied to my Jayne reference, that was pretty neat.

Also, now that I have the money I can spend some on cosplay. I think the first 2 I'll work on is Faith from Mirror's Edge and a female Jayne Cobb.

Well fortunately I don't suffer from that problem. And neither does most of the cosplay community. Jessica Nigri even does it and she's one of the most famous models.

Yeah, but she's famous because she regularly dresses provocatively and spawns a million controversial 'sexism in gaming' articles every time she cosplays (in addition to being attractive). Doesn't mean she's some sort of cosplaying god that shouldn't be defied.

Good luck with it anyway. A Cobb costume is 90% beanie so it shouldn't be too difficult.

Yeah, which is pretty obnoxious and why I honestly prefer her crossplays more (like her Assassin's Creed outfits).

And I hate the beanie, to be honest. It's WAY over done and doesn't make any sense to me why people wear it with the wrong shirts. If you cosplay an outfit, pick one and stay consistent. Don't wear a Blue Sun shirt and the hat. I'm personally going with the Serenity outfit. I already have the shirt.
