I am a huge fan. Particularly Sphere in the Heart of Silence, To Record Only Water for Ten Days, The Empyrean and Shadows Collide with People. I like Niandra Lades if I'm in the right mood.

I find the Crash Test Dummies curiously profound in a way that no other band has been. Also the bassist is implausibly solid and interesting.

I LIKE YOUR PANTS AROUND YOU FEET!

What not to like about a song like that?

I like Korn, Slipknot, Static-X, Disturbed, the Prodigy and Seal. Yes, Seal.
I came. I saw. I poked fun. I tried to explain things. I failed.
But FET will always be widely regarded as ignorant backwards nonsense by 99.99% of earth, regardless of what is said on this forum. Enjoy :)

Lord Oddfish has crap taste in music. (ok, the Prodigy were ok a while back but almost laughable now).

Back when I actually liked them, I felt like the only person who liked both old Prodigy and Always Outnumbered at the same time.

I am listening to a Captain Beefheart album right now, therefore I do not mind if you attempt to remind me, because it will be futile.

Judging from what I've seen of his music preferences I think Parsifal would probably approve of Captain Beefheart.

babby's first avant-garde

Babby's first avant garde is more like Penderecki, mainly because his music and influence have permeated the modern horror movie soundtrack. I'm guessing the average teenager has probably heard Penderecki or a rip off of Penderecki hundreds of times. Ligeti is kind of the same, but to a lesser degree.

Judging from what I've seen of his music preferences I think Parsifal would probably approve of Captain Beefheart.

The joke is that he doesn't.

The joke is that he's only heard Safe as Milk, and as such has no real idea what Captain Beefheart sounds like.
