Yes, because it's a very overpriced, very overrated brand. You're paying for the name on the bottle, not the drink inside it.
The opinion that you expressed is a bit snobbish. Just because something is a blend does not mean it is inherently cheaper and or worse.
I didn't mean it that way, I only meant to point out that the categories are not directly comparable. And Johnnie Walker in particular is a sub-par, overpriced blend.
Someone here should get me a Glencairn whisky glass for my birthday next month.
