What is your favorite Alcoholic beverage of choice? For me it's beer or rum. I don't mess with that colored mixed drink bullshit you ladies prefer. Rum and coke is as close as I get to that.

Scotch and Drambuie on the rocks (aka rusty nail.)

I also drink wine.
I don't know what you're implying, but you're probably wrong.

My variation on rum and coke is to use Capt. Morgan's spiced rum and Cherry Coke.  I also recently found that Jack Daniel's Honey and apple cider go well together.

I like beer. For hard liquor I like some good spiced rum, and them fruity Bacardi drinks.

I prefer colored mixed drink bullshit and wine.

Rum makes me want to vomit unless it's mixed with pineapple (specifically only pineapple).
Tequila and vodka are my favorite liquors.
And only dark beer will suffice.

Blue moon is one of my favorite beers. However, i will rock a bitch beer like Mike's Hard limeade, because that shit is tasty and gets you drunk. I'm terrified of buying wine, I know nothing about whine or what sort of whine is good. Every white wine i've had tasted like scrotum sweat, same goes for champagne. Tequila makes me break out a little. Never had scotch, or bourbon, i don't feel i'm a sophisticated enough human being to drink those.

A good ale goes down very well for me. When it comes to the heavy stuff, whiskey is a safe bet. Vodka mixed with tabasco sauce/a chilli pepper is a laugh as well.

Hot whiskey is lovely. In the summer scotch on the rocks.

Good ale and wine are entire worlds in themselves. But Trappist ale or craft porter/stout are always a delight, and big Italian reds or subtle French vinatages make some evenings incredibly nice.

Sadly what I end up drinking out weighs what I'd prefer to drink by a wide margin. I end up drinking the likes of coors and bud light usually when I go to a bar, or a friend's house. I have a bottle of private stock and a 2 liter of chery dr pepper in the fridge, and it is close to 5 pm. I don't mind coors, it's not my favorite beer. I still no nothing about wine. From what little of it I do drink I seem to favor red wine.

Have you tried coconut rum and orange-pineapple juice?

I can't remember if I've had coconut rum, usually if rum is involved I'm not the one who bought it. But I believe the juice is usually orange/pineapple or mango/pineapple. Either way pineapple is essential for deliciousness.

Like farmers don't use plenty of chemicals to grow food.

That's why Roundy asked if you had your own farm, assuming you wouldn't use chemicals because you refuse to ingest them.

I just can't wrap my head around how else one would avoid it, given how much of it is in the stuff we buy at the store.

Comparing the damage caused by chemicals in food to the damage caused by alcohol in your body is a moot point. It would be like comparing the damage of a 5 MPH fender-bender to a car getting hit by a full speed freight train.

Alcoholic beverages are nothing but trouble. Stick with water!
I saw a slight haze in the hotel bathroom this morning after I took a shower, have I discovered a new planet?

I've never experienced any sort of trouble as a result of consuming alcohol. On the other hand, I once drank so much water that I threw up.
