If you can give me an example of a locomotive "entity" that keeps the earth moving through space at your "9.81 m/s/s", I'll never post here again

We can explain the specifics of our universal acceleration force no better than you can explain your universal gravity.

We see the effects of said force - mainly the earth's constant upward acceleration - but beyond that, the details remain elusive. Exactly like gravity in the RE model.

There are four, which are alot better than a turtle.

    * The Schwarzschild solution, which describes spacetime surrounding a spherically symmetric non-rotating uncharged massive object. For compact enough objects, this solution generated a black hole with a central singularity.
    * The Reissner-Nordström solution, in which the central object has an electrical charge. For charges with a geometrized length which are less than the geometrized length of the mass of the object, this solution produces black holes with two event horizons.
    * The Kerr solution solution for rotating massive objects. This solution also produces black holes with multiple event horizons.
    * The cosmological Robertson-Walker solution, which predicts the expansion of the universe.

And there is always , where objects will be physically acceclerated towards the center of an object.
And there is even http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_gravity

Ok, so what is the mechanism behind gravity, exactly?

It doesn't matter that noone knows. The theories surrounding gravity's effects relate to it's effect, not it's cause.

Eventually? I'm sure science will figure out the cause too, but until then we work with what we got. Just because we don't know ALL the answers doesn't mean the ones we DO have aren't useful.

You mean this thing:
Quote
In physics, the graviton is a hypothetical elementary particle

You did notice the hypothetical part right?

And your point being? Is your theory any less hypothetical? Not to mention this one actually has mathimatical backing.

So why the double standard for the FE?

No, you're right. The FE theory is equally as hypothetical as the RE theory, and thus equally valid.

On the subject of causal mechanics, anyways.

Mostly becuase the people behind these theories are infantly more reputable and have mathimatical backing.

lol what fucking idiots. if you are accelerating at 9.8 m/s^2, then we would be constantly accelerating, meaning that sooner or later we would be at like 7895985412877869124235458691795293750m/s. There are so many flaws in your (FE) system. O yea and LOL at ice walls.

The FE would approach c asymtotically and would never reach it.  You are applying Newtonian mechanics to a relativistic situation.

So i came on this site by a link on my forum.

A good start.

Why do you think the earth is flat, lol

Why do you think it is round?

Quote from: "Paxtyr"
HAve u ever seen pictures of earth? Or do you think nasa can Photoshop like pro's?

Why can't NASA hire 'pros'?

Quote from: "Paxtyr"
Serious wake up. NO gravity? lol how the hell do you think you stay on earth then maybe its a good thing for you guys to fly away to some other planet, plzz do  :?

Explainations are both in the FAQ and dotted around the forum. Why not try looking first?

Quote from: "Paxtyr"
So explain me why do you think its flat, u guys on drugs or you guys a bunch of Hippies?

Whether they are or not, i've seen vastly more intelligent posts from them than i think i ever will of you.

Please, present us with proof of a flat Earth and we will all go home, because from where i am standing it sounds like a big joke.

LOL that is completely crazy

Why would children get taught at a young age that the world is round when its actually flat... If it is indeed flat as you say then why is EVERYONE ELSE saying that it is round... There is no need for people to cover up the fact that it is flat...

Remember the strories about people saiing to the edge of the earth because of the fear that it was flat only to discover that it was indeed round and it didnt have an edge

this is very humerous

reality check

this not the matrix
y the way

The world is round

just in case you didnt know or needed reminding

Maybe you should fly away to another planet, preferably a flat one in your case, because judging from the amount of people signing up to this thing who actually believe the world is flat there would probably be no room for you in all the worlds psychiatric homes.

Well, they do have a bit of documentation in a few threads if you poke around, but it's all bascially crackpot theorys with no real emperical proof. Maybe they believe there is a second moon that orbits the earth too.

Thats it, I'm a believer.

Those experiments have proved all I need to know, I'm calling the radio right now to let them know of the lies and filfth they are teaching in schools worldwide, I am also going make signs and get all my cosmic buddies together and go stage a big protest outside of NASA.

THE WORLD IS FLAT YOU LIARS AHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
