No, but they can really mess up MRI's and CT scans.

Actually, since there are so many fat people centered in America, namely Wisconson (2 pts for anyone who gets the reference), the earth actually spins faster due to that, faster and more balanced.

Surely the mass of the Earth remains constant.  Or are the fat people eating other planets?

Actually apparently the mass of the Earth is slightly increasing due to objects from space coming into our atmosphere (even if they burn up, the mass doesn't usually just disappear but it's not significant at all.

According the Mayans (I think) the length of a day is actually getting shorter and by 2012 it will have reached 0 - in which case we will lose a dimension or something and the world will completely change.  I guess if this is the case our timing methods are in a different frame of reference.
