If you're truly an FE believer, then you must also think you're better than everyone else in the world.
Why? Because you think you have been able to crack the puzzle of the Earth's true shape when countless people before you hadn't.

And don't give me that nonsense about the secret of the Earth's flatness being really well hidden so the regular scientists would never know. Mainstream theories have been fought and overturned many times throughout history, and so has FET - many times. It has never and will never overturn RET though, because it's so very absurd.
Scepti, this idiocy needs to stop and it needs to stop right now. You are making a mockery of this fine forum with your poor trolling. You are a complete disgrace.

We just argue FET for the fun of it. When the first satellites went into space and took pictures of a round earth the real flat earth society died.

I do not think I am better than someone because I know something they do not.  Many people, many, know about things I am completely ignorant of.  Its a reflection of interest, understanding, background, and other variables.  If you were a bit more  pyschologically matured you would most likely understand better.  I am quite certain you like the shoebox size of a world your mind currently occupies.   I do not think I am  better than an infant who does not yet possess the know how to speak properly, even though I can speak just fine.  If you wish to throw around  insults do pester somebody of your similiar age group and sexual deprivation because you seem to be either under a misapprehension, or simply full of teenage childish pride to convert an intelligible thought into a web forum post.

Many people, many, know about things I am completely ignorant of.  Its a reflection of interest, understanding, background, and other variables.
And therefore you think you have a superior
interest, understanding, background, and other variables (that are most probably too irrelevant to be mentioned)
to the rest of the majority of scientists throughout the ages that have studied, experimented and fought and won against anti-RET's.

You clearly think you are onto something spectacular here with FET, but you cannot comprehend why it isn't taking over RET, or even being considered as a possibility. Maybe until FES can unanimously agree on a universal - tight proof - theory of FET, then it could be worthy of something.

A teenager? Go to my profile, find my birthday then start plugging in the values into http://www.mathcats.com/explore/agecalculator.html

Oh god, you're still much older than me? So what? You may be wiser and have more life experience than me, but does that conclude anything about our flaws? Who's to say you aren't just another old crackpot that believes he's solved the mysteries of the universe one night while high as a kite.

And if I were an old and feeble man, just looking for a friend to have a cup of coffee with at the lounge and you started sputtering this nonsense about FET to me, I'd probably kick you out of my house.

You are clearly angry in life.   Who said I was older than you?  Since when does teenage pride have to do with age?  What the hell is wrong with you boy?  Listen son, leave the web forums and debate alone, this shouldnt be this difficult.  Its not  like an actual personal encounter here, you have ample  time to conjure up a decent response yet seem so unable to do so.  Let me make a suggestion.......get laid once in a while.  I know, it seems as if none of the  girls like you, there are some out there, their face is beat, but their body is hot.  This shouldnt be a problem for a malcontent and dissaffected degenerate like you.  You have to at least put some effort forth though.  What little  confidence you have is only on web forums where your frail attitude and acne strewn face cannot be seen.   Or at least to most anyway.

RET is rejected by FEers because, as is implicit in your question, it is a theory and is still unproven.

When i first started to look into this, i thought that the fact that the earth is a globe would be supported with a large amount of hard evidence that would put anyone who believed otherwise firmly in the category of 'religious lunatic', 'mentally unstable',  or suchlike.

However, my efforts to find this evidence have failed. Which i find to be quite perplexing.

I initially thought there would be film footage from satellites or spaceships that would show the earth rotating in real-time. Maybe speeded up, like those films of flowers opening. But the few pieces of footage that i have seen are entirely unconvincing.

I hope you enjoy this forum. Besides what some of the posters say in this thread, amongst the large collection of fakes, devil's advocates, internet forum warriors, et al, there are genuine flat earth believers here.

Warm regards, Mizuki x

does anybody in the FES look to disprove FET too? it appears your mostly looking for answers to back up your claims rather than things that dont support them. i came to these pages with that intention for seeking truth in RET (although just for fun). once in a while you find some good posts, these are rare however but some really are thought provoking. the most logical answer to me still suggests the earth is round from evidence provided on these pages.

Please tell me more about these ugly girls I need to try and lay, my girlfriend and I would be very interested in hearing more about it. You know, when I was much younger and I got into a rant war, I'd frequently toss around insults that suggested these people were sexually deprived. Only once I screwed around a couple of times and started taking it for granted did I stop. Since then, I haven't once initiated any "you need to get laid" comments.
Now I'm not suggesting that your insults being thrown at me are just a cover up of what you've been neglected of, but it does raise a few interesting questions.

Anyway, since you chose to try and defend your ego rather than giving me some good reasons as to why I shouldn't think you think you're better than every other mainstream scientist out there, I can see you get easily distracted and take every opportunity possible to dodge the topic at hand. This conversation is over... because I need both my frail hands to pop these outrageously huge pimples on my face.
Scepti, this idiocy needs to stop and it needs to stop right now. You are making a mockery of this fine forum with your poor trolling. You are a complete disgrace.

i have provided a response to why I do not necassarily think I am better than someone simply because I know, or even think I know something that someone else does not.  This is foolishness and after you made the accusation you did little in the way of explaining why this MUST be so.  Then you ridicule me for not providing an explanation after I did, which you said little more as a reply to.  You isolated part of the quote you thought you stood a chance with in hopes that everyone would forget about the rest.
I am not dodging anything, only repricating your poor manners and childish etiquette in hopes that you might one day soon free yourself from such foolish and non productive ways.  If ''this conversation is over'', then lucky for me, however you say it like its some sort of punishment when really it would have been better had it never initiated in the first place.  Talks about, ''me and my girlfriend would like to know'', and, ''I used to do that when I  was younger too.''  Had you approached me in an orderly  and semi polite fashion you would have gained a more appropriate answer in response to your alleged interest.  You speak of what I am more interested in regarding conversation yet you clearly are  completely unaware.  I engage others all the time and so long as they avoid initiating childish squabbles then I too will adhere to standards of excellence. This is how  I operate on these fora, if your going to act like a ill mannered malcontent then ill treat you as so.

The majority of them do actually.  People who allegedly believe the earth is flat debate  with each other as well about various ideas and theories.  Although the FE believers board has been rather dormant lately, it used to flourish with the exchanging of ideas between fellow advocates as did in FE General and FE debate.  Its mostly FE advocate against noobs these days.

i tend to avoid that area as its pretty wild for me. but the parts i have seen only suggest different ideas about the flat earth. i do think the FES works in the very same way us sheeple do. they believe in a flat earth so much now that even if good evidence stands before them it will be dismissed. i just think it would be good to see more people who stand for flat earth look into disproving it aswel. much credit will go towards these people who clearly do look at the world with open eyes
