I haven't said anything about your ancestors and I do not take any responsibilty for what other people say. This is an irrelevent point. Australian's don't view our migrant history as a bad thing, in fact many of us are proud of it. Saying that if you aren't an aborigine you are a migrant is a completely different statement.
I didn't, i jested that you are a bunch of immigrants. I didn't say that it was either fact or my actual point of view.
Which you cant' seem to digest.
It's falst to say that being a white Australian makes you an immigrant. Australians are very nationalistic. We definitely don't like having our nationality belittled or questioned.
Since i clearly didn't say that being australian definately makes you an immigrant if you're not an aboriginal. I infered as a joke that you were. It wasn't contrete truth, i didn't say that i view anyone who's descended from non indigenous populace any less or more australian than their ethnically indigenous counter parts.
This has nothing to do with being politically correct. I was simply correcting your error in suggesting that white Australians are immigrants. There is a significant difference between being an immigrant and being the child, grand child, great grand child etc. of an immigrant.
Yes it has everything to do with being PC.
You have taken something i did NOT mean as derogatory or even fact completely out of context and you've chosen to be offended by it. For the sake of an argument it may seem.
Yes i'm very aware of thr fact that being descended from immigrants doesnt' make you an immigrant, being a descendant and 2nd generation from 1 immigrant and the 4th generation from another immigrant. You're telling me nothing new son. And i didn't profess to have the opinion that people who are descended from immigrants are still immigrants.
you took that upon yourself to make that opinion for me.
I didn't make any statement

I was pointing out that my comments had no reference to the nature of your statement - be it meaningless or massive or for that matter humourous. I'm sorry you were unable to understand what appeared to be a straight forward point.
Oh i understood it alright but i dont' see the point in you saying it. You're flogging a dead horse with this one
Are you honestly saying that you don't think that; "And the one with the most immigrants." is a statement?
I thinkt he fact that i wrote (i jest) means that i wasn't being serious.
No it wasn't a statement, at all. It was a jest which was not meant to be taken seriously.
And you didn't understand it. If you don't understand things and still try to comment on them, you'll look stupid.
I understand what you meant love. you're the one who's taken my comments completely out of context here.
I haven't said you were being derogatory. What I've said, and I feel that this is fairly clear, is that you're statement that white Australian's are immigrants was wrong, offensive and showed a lack of cultural knowledge of Australia.
Now here we goa gain, once again it was jest,
1. a joke or witty remark; witticism.
2. a bantering remark; a piece of good-natured ridicule; taunt.
3. sport or fun: to speak half in jest, half in earnest.
4. the object of laughter, sport, or mockery; laughing-stock.
5. Obsolete. an exploit. Compare gest.
–verb (used without object)
6. to speak in a playful, humorous, or facetious way; joke.
7. to speak or act in mere sport, rather than in earnest; trifle (often fol. by with): Please don't jest with me.
8. to utter derisive speeches; gibe or scoff.
–verb (used with object)
9. to deride or joke at; banter.
