You seem awfully eager to defend the Tong, Dunmer.  How interesting.

Of course. This may be difficult for a dumb outlander like you to understand, but the Morag tong (not to be confused with the Commona Tong, they're just thugs) is highly respected in Dunmeri culture.

Yeah, well, they've been wiped out by the time Skyrim rolls around.  So there.

Yeah, the Dark Brotherhood of Skyrim pales in comparison to its predecessors.

Irrelephant to the fact that the Morag Tong is gone.  That guy who joins the Thieves Guild baws about it.

No.  The Dark Brotherhood is the spiritual successor to the Morang Tong, expanded into Cyrodiil and eventually Skyrim.

SPOILER ALERT

You encounter a group of Morag Tong assassins in Dragonborn. So I guess they're not entirely wiped out.

If you pickpocket them do they send hired thugs after you?

If everyone just lived under the code of Malacath no one would have problems.

A noble sentiment indeed.

Apparently there is a mod in the works to make all the world outside of Skyrim playable.

Quoted from Kotaku commenter -Silver-:

"For those of you interested in new provinces outside of Skyrim, there's a huge collaboration of modders working under the banner of "Beyond Skyrim" to create a huge open world space of Tamriel, and fill it with 100% lore accurate geographic regions, cities, and quests.

Morrowind has a team. High Rock, Hammerfell, Elsweyr, Cyrodiil, and Valenwood do too. The map is to Skyrim's scale (so monolithic), and completely open. So you could travel by foot, horse, or sea, from the South West of Valenwood all the way to the North Eastern tip of Morrowind's Telvanni islands without a single loading screen. You can see the heightmap in the attached image, and for those of you who don't know Tamriel very well, Skyrim is at the very top center: http://www.tes.altervista.org/mappagigante.jpg

Check out the forums here if you want to lurk - plenty of WIP screenshots, concept art, and discussion: http://www.darkcreations.org/forums/forum/119-beyond-skyrim/"

All of the landmass is already there (or at least Morrowind and Cyrodiil anyway), just needs to be populated.

Sure, there's a heightmap with extremely low LOD. It doesn't exactly qualify as "all the landmass" and the modders will most likely have to redo it anyway.

That being said, I don't really see why there would be an engine limitation concerning this mod, unless there's a hardcoded limit to map size, or something. But that would be super dumb.

And they're even planning on adding new storylines and quests too.  I can't even fathom how much work all that is going to be.

It'll never be finished. Just consider how long Tamriel Rebuilt has been worked on, and that's just one continent.

I do have it somewhere but I haven't been able to get it to work.  It's free so there's not a lot of excuse for not getting it anyway.
