You should fuck off and die. Vvardenfell, as well as much of the mainland, has already been ruined by the eruption of Red Mountain and the invasion of those moronic lizards.

Morrowind is a tricky game to really get the hang of.  It's pretty jarring after Oblivion and Skyrim.

I have found that time traveling is indeed jarring.

I played it before the sequels and I'd still say it was jarring to get the hang of.  I still hate the fact that running depletes stamina, so until you get your athletics up it's such a pain in the ass going anywhere.

Fun fact: even the shittiest stamina regen enchantment will completely negate the depletion from running.

Indeed.  All Morrowind fans are fat D&D nerds.

"fat" wasn't anywhere near the first word that came to mind when I saw that image.  I just saw a bunch of guys having fun with a tabletop game.  That's not insulting, and if you were trying to be insulting you failed miserably.  Which is pretty par for the course for you.

That was neither clever nor funny.

It was not meant to be funny, nor did I think it was particularly clever.  Its the same for my Dad when he tries to go back and drive cars from when he was young.  Its more work, its less refined, and its much more jarring.  Its akin to time traveling, exploring what it used to be like.

Now you can come back and say that you knew what i meant, but I would argue that saying "it wasn't funny" is a clear indication that you did not understand i was being serious.  Playing with old toys, eating old food, reading old books, these are what many would call tools to time travel.  The experience can be quite jarring when compared to today's standards.

As for the clever bit, its hardly an original idea to call experiencing older things "time traveling,"  i have heard it many times before and would not think of claiming it to be original.

Anyway, as my attempt to annoy Blanko was intercepted by Nomad, I'll be serious.  The picture I posted wasn't meant to be an insult, but a rebuttal to what Mugsy implied with his picture.  And not just Mugsy.  This seems to be the dominant position of the online fan community - basically, that Morrowind was a game for adults, for the true gamers, and ever since then the series has been getting "dumbed down" for kids and "casual gamers."  That was a big part of the reason why I got the game.  But now that I've been playing it for a while...I don't think I agree.
