I don't think I've spoken harshly of it. I've only presented valid critique. People here have even agreed with me, people who still play the game. That is not being "harsh", that's just being realistic about the game's flaws and not overlooking them due to fanboyism or whatever.
I speak "so harshly" of it because it's simply not that great of a game. It's an enjoyable game and I've played it for over 80 hours -- and during those 80 hours I learned that you pretty much see everything in Skyrim in the first 5 hours. Most of the game might as well have been randomly generated and nobody could tell the difference. My view of the game stems purely from the game itself, and that in turn has made me wonder why people give it so much praise. Not the other way around.
