Dark Brotherhood end repeatable quests suck.
Ok, it's nice to get 1,000 gold with each very easy kill but I must have killed this reckless mage 20 times in The Frozen Hearth.  And it's easy too.  Stealth to the corner.  Kill with bow.
No one has even run from me.

But I hit 91 smithing.  So close to Dragon armor I can taste it.

I mostly just make leather items.  It's a hell of a lot cheaper to buy the materials than say... Ebony armor.

You can just make iron daggers. They advance the skill way more than they should.

So I've read.
I'll probably do that, then enchant them cause I have tons of soul gems.

That's what I did on my old game. I spent a lot of gold buying the parts, and made back a lot less. It's a good way to increase speech and smithing, though. And if you don't care about soul gems you can enchant the daggers before you sell them and make a lot more money.

Go to Markarth. The place is full of things to do and people to kill.

Made 100 smithing.
Dragon armor is... well, it's worthless for me.
I love my Ancient shrouded armor set as it's got some wicket buffs. (100% poison resist for example) and while it's armor value is less than Dragon Scale, it's still better.

Can't enchant it with those enchantments.

100% poison resist
30% bow damage
Double backstabbing damage
Silent movement

Can't even disenchant those.

My goal is to disenchant as many things as I can, then use a bunch of shitty soul gems to raise my enchantment to 100, then use black soul gems to enchant my armour with as of yet undecided enchantments.

The Emperor made me feel guilty when I killed him.

I was disappointed myself.
I expected him to have a lot more guards.

Then he wanted justice so I said "no. " he was rather unhappy. Then he died and I got paid.
Assassins don't do justice.

An alchemist in Skyrim is like an infant. His philosophy on life is, how can you know something if you've never tasted it?

100% poison resist
30% bow damage
Double backstabbing damage
Silent movement

Can't even disenchant those.

>implying poison resist isn't fucking useless
>implying sneak perks don't give permanent muffle, making the boot enchantment useless
>implying you can't enchant up to +180% bow damage with 100 enchanting and enchanting potions

The backstab damage is cool, though.

There's an upper limit on enchantment buffs to bow damage? Aww, and here I was going to one-shot Alduin with a long bow. :(

100 enchanting + Grand soul gem + Enchanter's Elixir = +45% damage to [insert weapon skill here], which can be enchanted to up to four item slots, equaling +180%.

Ah.  That's pretty damn impressive.

Of course, I do 3x damage per sneak bow attack and currently do 30x per sneak dagger attack.  Most things don't survive.

You're right about the poison resist except for those pesky levers.  Get it wrong and you get hit with poison dart.  I love taking no damage from that.
And you're right about the sneak perk.

I'll have to re-think my armor before I fight Alduin.
But it does look good so maybe I won't...

And you're right about the sneak perk.

Sneak perks also make you unable to trigger traps so lol

In any case you can spend those enchantment slots a lot more effectively than being immune to a kind of damage that's ineffective as shit and that a total of two creatures in the entire world use.

Whatever, Alduin is piss easy anyway.

Can't really sneak while fighting Alduin unless maybe you use the Shadow Warrior perk, but I can't comment on that since I haven't tried.  So yeah you might want to put some thought into how you're going to take care of that.

Fortify Enchanting gear?  As in, an enchantment to fortify enchantment?  Doesn't exist(without mods(and would further OP an already OP skilltree)).

lolwut

and the exploit you mentioned?

It doesn't really work. You can make potions that increase enchanting by 28% (where Enchanter's Elixir boosts it by 25%), after which the process just gets stuck at 28%. That doesn't really show much difference in the final enchantment so it's not really worth the effort.
