I think I started it at 10am yesterday and ended at 2:30am. I took a break to go out to dinner, but holy shit I'm in love with this game.

When your Altmer was standing at a cooking pot in her underwear, I fell in love.

I'm going to make a high elf and an argonian. I will probably make the argonian first. Then make it a shadowscale and become a vampire.

Also, I will be playing this on a shitty rig, so I expect the results will be less than satisfactory.

I made a Redguard named Jermichael. Since magic looks and works amazingly in this game I'm actually going to use it for once.

Me too. I've been using a sword in one hand and a spell in the other. I can burn someone and stab them at the same time, sooo super AWESUM.

What card are you running now? I thought it would be kind of demanding, but my 6850 handles it well.

No sword in one hand and axe in the other?  Also bearskin on your back and/or wolfjaw on your head?

Note to Bethesda: Having one voice actor send me to another character with the same voice actor is noticable. Especially when you have to speak to them both consecutively.

I happen to love shield bashing. Vikings did it. I almost shat myself with excitement when I noticed you could do it.

I've been attacked by three (EDIT: six) dragons in the courtyard of College of Winterhold alone. Shit's littered by dragon skeletons by now.

Also, wearing Archmage's robes + Morokei = hilarious ringwraith mode (that is, if the game shits itself appropriately), not to mention +200% magicka regen.

It looks incredible so far, and not just the actual graphics, but the visuals look superb and well thought out.  The GUI is shit, but I guess I'll have to get used to it until someone implements a better one.

I think I have to start a new dude already, though, because first thing I did when I got to Riverwood or whatever was torch a chicken and the whole town started kicking my ass.  I guess no one appreciates fried chicken in skyrim.  I think I'm actually going to try a magic user this time around since it seems actually pretty cool to use (I think someone in this thread already said something to that effect).

This is a common problem. I did the same thing. Fucking Fable making it okay to harass and torment chickens.

That was annoying. I took a swing at a random chicken and proceeded to get gang raped by the entire village.

lol. I think this game actually immerses me into the medieval setting a bit too well. I wanted to kill a chicken but I had a feeling everyone would shit their pants at it, so I saved before hand and proceded to rape everything that came at me. Poor Alvor, I will never forget when you told me my dagger was shit and that I needed to sharpen it. :( YOU TAUGHT ME ALL I KNOW! *shank*

But really, I'm pretty weirded out that they don't get pissed when I steal their crops and eggs and then proceed to sell them back to the merchant.

Also, how long did you need to grind for 100 enchanting?

A few hours. Just make sure you get a lot of cheap clothes and soul gems (you should have a literal fuckton of them if you've picked up every one of them you've found; use the crappy ones for training and spare the good ones for enchanting your own gear).

Also, I've now been attacked by a total of nine (EDIT: ten) dragons in the courtyard of the College of Winterhold. Man, those fucks must really hate mages.

Also, I killed an ancient dragon (the kind that instakills you while flying frantically in midair) which made me feel like such a badass.
