I've discovered how to make this game fun again. I modified my difficulty so that I now receive 16 times the damage I normally would from enemies on Master, and in return deal twice the damage to them.

Fights are a lot more intense when most enemies can one-shot you.

How surreal.

Also, Elsweyr is such a silly name.

It's intentional. I forgot the whole story, but the inspiration was "elsewhere".

No shit, really?  I never would have been able to figure that one out on my own.

I figured you may have thought the resemblance was unintentional, since you pointed out that it was "silly" when it's obviously supposed to be.

Ugh, I hate that argument.  "It was intentional, therefore your point is invalid!"  There needs to be some kind of reasoning for why something was done intentionally before that fact can just be thrown up as an impervious excuse.

Dawnstar and Solitude also rank high in terms of silly Elder Scrolls names. Shame really, as I thought the other hold/city names were excellent.

Totally slaughtered the Stormcloaks tonight, and stuck my long, hard ebony sword down Ulfric's throat. Yeah, that's what I said.

Did the people in Whiterun begin standing around town without proceeding to do their normal daily activities when you did the imperial quest? It happened for me, so I'm wondering if it's a common bug or something. Also, is Hadvar following you?

No, didn't get any bugs like that, though I've seen plenty of others. Had to do a few reloads to finish the College questline, and despite doing everything required I can't seem to become Thane of the Reach.

Skyrim's been my least glitchy Bethesda experience, tbh.  I've seen a few silly visual bugs, mostly physics related, but nothing gamebreaking.  I've seen this: but that's really about it.

I would say Skyrim's been the least glitchy Bethesda game for me too, but I've been lucky enough to have never experienced a game breaking bug.
