A Few Questions From a Newbie
« on: October 16, 2011, 09:01:30 PM »
1. How do you explain concrete scientific proof the earth is round, like videos from NASA and other private institutions?

2. What's the point of trying to communicate that the earth is flat?

3. What would you say to leading geologists and earth science experts about your "theory"?

4. Are you all a bunch of elitist trolls wasting your lives trying to explain this idiotic theory that could only the internet could harbour?

Thanks!

Some questions still remain unanswered.

1. It's either due to people (particularly Aristotle) being wrong, or (in the case of NASA) a conspiracy. The conspiracy exists mainly because they faked the space program, found out the truth, and realized that if it ever came out they'd be exposed.

2. Because it is true.

3. If you lurk a bit, you can probably find a thread in which this actually happened.

4. No.

i guess the faqqers are really happy NASA is the midst of massive layoffs,
a bunch of hard working honest people out of work.

personally i think this is really sad, if there is a conspiracy, and this is a pretty small if,
it involves only the very top of NASA.

NASA does not equal conspiracy, please refrain from this

If there's a conspiracy, NASA musn't be the only one involved.

Ie. ESA, Russian Space Agency, Scientists all over the world, governments...

We say NASA because it's easier than listing them all and NASA is the most important.

So how many people do you guess would be in the conspiration?

Personally, I think a more reasonable estimate of the people involved in the conspiracy is closer to 7 billion than to 223. I think that the only people who aren't involved in the conspiracy are the people who visit this website. Everyone else is just an actor whose job it is to mess with you. It's like the Truman Show, except dripping in evil and the blood of the innocent.

Just my thoughts on the matter...

I'm sure they will be, but I don't think it'll be for the reason you're thinking of. Over the past century we have discovered so many things about the Universe that would have baffled the average 18th century scientist. Just imagine what we'll know in a hundred more years. I'm pretty sure people will be laughing at many theories we hold to be true. Tis a bit sad, but such is progress.
