How is the Earth flat?  How do people explain the origin of those images?

For a start, they will claim the first picture is computer generated - which it is, actually.
The second picture will be accused of either being a fake or that it depicts a flat earth through a fish eye lens - which it doesn't, anyone who claims that's a fish eye view knows next to nothing about photography. They only get away with it so much because there's hardly anyone on this site who does know anything about photography to counter them.

CGI.  Fish bowl lens.  NASA agents.  Microsoft Paint.  The curvature of the lens.  Fakery.  Hypnotism.  Ninjas.  Crayons.  How many of these explanations do you want?

The first image is fake. The second is distorted.

Do you noobs think you're clever or original? Just wondering.

NASA paid us to try to trick you.  You are too clever for us, though.  Now, they are probably going to kill me.

See? Told you none of them understand photography. Best they can manage is "distorted".

I am not a professional, but I do have a couple of decent cameras and I have "fish bowl" lenses and attachments for them.  My wife is actually the photographer, but I still claim that the equipment belongs to both of us, since that seems to be her argument about my stuff.

Wide angle lenses are very obvious when you see them.  I am not claiming that I can point out every single fake photo, but I can tell when wide angles are used, especially when they would be as curved as it is claimed in high altitude photos.

By "fish bowl" lens, do you mean "fish eye" lens? (which clearly has not been used in the second photograph as it looks nothing like what you'd see if one was used.)

What a lazy OP. Like we haven't been shown a photoshopped earth before?

How about this? Can it be explained? There is a photo of it ... it must be real right?

I hope it doesn't open fire. That might ruin my weekend. :(

I think its more reasonable to advocate that instead of claiming its a fish eye lens that it could be a vorticity effect similar to a fish eye lens, due to the nature of Torus harmonics bending and warping space beyond the immediate material level of the seeming globe, i.e. the extra high frequency bands of the Torus field way beyond the actual visible world, akin to how the suns heliosphere extends beyond all the discovered planets in the common perception of the solar system.

Knowledge gained via academic means and intelligence are not mutually inclusive. Those who assume authority and superiority over conventionally uneducated persons would be wiser to keep this in mind.

No, because you'd need more Handwavium in the atmosphere and a camera lens made of Unobtainium to detect that :P

Neither does the OP.
Why do we fall back to earth? Because our weight pushes us down, no laws, no gravity pulling us. It is the law of intelligence.
