Government protected wall of ice - lol wut?

One line I keep coming across is this "government protected wall of ice" that encompases this planet.  Is this seriously what most FA'ers believe?  That the government is guarding this giant wall of ice with submarines, and shoots down anyone who gets close?


If this RE lie is created for profit, wouldn't it be much easier, and cheaper to create a simpler lie that's harder to disprove?  Like cancer reserach, stick a few big labs in the country and claim they are researching with our taxes,  that would be pretty hard to prove wrong.  But NOOOOOOO that's just too easy, the evil government instead decided to create this massive hoax, and set up guard posts along this massive wall of ice, just so they can profit from a fake a space program.

It is, quite simply, the silliest conspiracy theory ever. I hate reading & writing the term LOL, but I actually laugh a little each time I read a thread about it. It's hilarious.

Ok so I didn't get my facts mixed up,  good. 

Now,  do you have a theory or answer as to why the governments around the world would go through so much trouble,  when they could have created a much simpler lie to divert our taxes??   Why did they choose the hard road by faking a space station and guarding half of this planet from us,  when they could have simply faked a few labratories instead?

Agreed.  Everytime I log on, I risk breaking my nose from the staggering amount of face-palms I receive.  I mean, all their science and theories are impressive, the amount of time they put in trying to convince others is impressive,  but then you get to this steriotypical tinfoil story of an evil government hiding half the godman planet from us... it's just WTF, words cannot explain how ridiculous this story is.  I'm at a loss for words.

I still do not see how so many people can be a part of a conspiracy.  I have read through the old posts and I keep reading that it would not take very many people to make the conspiracy.  I have seen calculations that have put the number below 100 and I have seen others that put the amount in the high thousands or millions.  There is not evidence of anyone working for the conspiracy, and in fact, the flat earthers will tell you that the fact that there is no proof is actually proof of the conspiracy. 

It would take millions of conspirators to make this theory happen.

Incorrect. What FE'ers will tell you is that if we had in-depth details about the conspiracy, it wouldn't be a conspiracy. You know, a secret organisation isn't very secret if it's not... y'know, secret. That much is elementary. That said, there does exist a wealth of evidence for the conspiracy.

i said that if the conspiracy WAS real there would have to be millions in on it. and to be honest...that many people keeping their mouths shut? ya thats kind of impossible for humans, no matter how many threats you give them

I spent many years in the military.  I am not saying that the military is very efficient; however, I am saying that a study of the military will tell you that the number of conspirators would be much, much greater than it is claimed to be.

The ice wall ninjas need to eat.  I do not think anyone would argue with that.  Sure, some can say that they eat MREs that civilians think went to soldiers.  But, I can assure you that it would not take long for these pre-made meals to make you sick.  If I was an ice wall ninja, I would require fresh food occasionally.  Actually, I think the real term I would use is frequently.

So, the ice wall ninjas would need cooks.  The cooks need an ever steady supply off food, so there must be many pilots who ruetinely fly to ice wall in order to feed them.

And, their food source is not the only thing that makes this theory suspicious.  The ice wall ninjas, no matter much they are paid, would need time off to spend their money.  So, there would have to be replacement ninjas in order for them to have days off.

Also, the snow mobile would need fuel.  I have yet to see a claim that the ice wall ninjas drill for and refine their own fuel.  Therefore, there must be a steady stream of ships, with sailors aboard, feeding their vehicles.

Next, people get hurt.  Even ninjas will succumb to the weather on occasions.  There would need to be medical staff standing by to treat, even the occasional, case of frost bite. 

As a former military person, I would say that the smallest amount of support personnel compared to the actual guards would be 10:1.  In the real military, it is more like 100:1.

PS. If the radious of the earth is 6378.1 kilometers, it means that the icewall is 40745 kilometer long, that means that if you want to guard that icewall well you need atlast 1 ninja per kilometer, it means that 40745 ninjas are guarding that place, that is like population of one town...

This is what i'm talking about. At least 40k people would have to be nurished and paid off in order for this secret to be kept.  That might be a drop in the bucket compared to what we are spending in our space programs... BUT,  once again,  wouldn't it be much cheaper and easier to pay off 100 fake scientists in a lab, rather than 40,000 guards. and another 100 nasa employees?

If only for profit, why choose the most ridiculous route?

I don't think it's just an ice wall sitting on the water. You'd have to traverse very far across freezing terrain first. So it doesn't really need to be protected as no one goes there.

People here routinely say that Antarctica and the ice wall the same thing.  But, let's assume that Antarctica is not part of the ice wall.  I have yet to read a plausible explanation as to why we can not go there.
