Since I discovered Firefox was causing my computer to crash, and was just generally glitchy with my system, I have now switched to Chrome. We'll see where that takes us.

I just switched to Chrome.  I was using FireFox.  Holy Shit, Chrome is much faster.  Not nanoseconds like I have heard claimed, but it seams like 1 or more seconds faster.

It could be my system or the fact that I have a shitty DSL provider, but Chrome on my computer knocks FF out of the water.

I'm pretty impressed so far as well, still trying our various customizations, but I think it's quite a bit slicker than Firefox, plus it doesn't cause bluescreens (started when I updated to FF11). I'm sold.

Chrome always crashes for me, but I love it too much to want to use anything else. Plus I *just* made an Owl City theme for it. :(

Funny, I switched because Firefox also always crashed for me (when it wasn't bluescreening). Also, gay.

I have used Chrome in Windows in the past and did not notice a real difference in speed.  In Linux, it is like night and day when I have Chrome and FF open at the same time.

When I click on "Show new replies to your posts" in FF it takes between 4 and 8 seconds to get the page.  In Chrome, it takes between 1 and 2 seconds.  Chrome is definitely faster.
