Not lost here, the mathematics lesson you are offering is just irrelevant to the actual problem.  The real problem is that your globularist indoctrination has led to you to trying to tie unnecessary theories to attempt to explain something that is much simpler than you are making out to be. Ditto the flight times problem.
You're telling me I'm trying to make it more difficult than it is? The concept of a land sloping away from us very slowly isn't hard to fathom, however, the idea that planes are frequently traveling 3x faster than they should and no one has yet to notice, now that's making it more difficult than it is.
Scepti, this idiocy needs to stop and it needs to stop right now. You are making a mockery of this fine forum with your poor trolling. You are a complete disgrace.

It's funny to see that I haven't visited this forum, in oh I don't know a year or two, and the theory of FE hasn't advanced any more than read the links in Tom's sig; not to mention Tom's response is still look out your window.  I thought we talked about this a couple years ago Tom.  We were going to start advancing your theory further than you window and you were going to stop responding with look out your window.

Good Times...

They will either fart out the phrase "fish eye lens" without undertsanding what you would see with one, or claim its special effects.
If the ultimate objective is to kill Skeleton, we should just do that next.

I must say, I have a special place in my heart for the children who still think that people with different opinions are angry with them.
Gather round my gentle sheep, I have a wonderful spherical story for you

I must say, I have a special place in my heart for the children who still think that people with different opinions are angry with them.
It's about how they present their opinions, not what they are.

Consider the following:

Exhibit A:
"I am not sure if I understood your argument entirely. Could you elaborate?"

Exhibit B:
"You will find I only reply to complete answers. I hereby sternly demand that you provide me with more information, because I'm too lazy to search for it. Also, your opinion is a stupid fantasy and I have a special place in my heart for you because you are so cute in a slightly funny way."

Exhibit B is displaying large amounts of anger and is committing one of the seven deadly sins. Exhibit A, on the other hand, is polite.

Im not as angry as Pizza Plant, who appears to be in a boiling rage most of the time. How long has he been here?
BTW do you dispute you were about to type "fish eye" until you noticed my post?  ;)

I can, in fact prove that baking lasagna is harder than microwaving it.
