So, the Earth is flat?
« on: May 29, 2011, 03:24:11 PM »
If the Earth is flat, then why do we have seasons?

How do we have images from space showing it is a sphere?

Why does the moon give off moon rays and how?

How does the sun set and rise in a different location?

How is there a north and south pole?

Is the sun flat too, and the moon?

Where is the proof that it IS flat?

How come we haven't fallen off the edge?

And what about international flights, and the International Space Station?

Please explain, because the rest of the world, and scientific community says otherwise

Everyone knows that the Earth is a tesseract, not a sphere...

The latest theory about the Earth's shape, is hexagonal prism theory(HPT). You should do more research and homework before wasting your time on here.

Yes, the earth is flat.

If the Earth is flat, then why do we have seasons?

A slight tilt due to the uneven mass of the earth against the UA.

How do we have images from space showing it is a sphere?

Every picture I see shows a giant disc.

Why does the moon give off moon rays and how?

It doesn't, its light is from the sun.

How does the sun set and rise in a different location?

Because the sun circles us every 24 hours casting a circle of light rotating around the Earth.

How is there a north and south pole?

North is the inside of the disc, south is the outside.

Is the sun flat too, and the moon?

no, the only visible large celestial object this is a disc is Earth.

Where is the proof that it IS flat?

Go to a large lake, get a telescope, there is no curve.

How come we haven't fallen off the edge?

Some say there is no edge, some say there is a barrier, no one really knows because no one has been there, or came back to tell.

And what about international flights, and the International Space Station?

Space flight is possible

Can you imagine the chaos if the Earth were to tilt slightly against UA? Like a coin spinning out of control in a hurricane...
Scepti, this idiocy needs to stop and it needs to stop right now. You are making a mockery of this fine forum with your poor trolling. You are a complete disgrace.

He wasn't talking to you, and he wasn't being particularly insulting. We tend to get about 15 'angry newbs' a week, with a spike on a certain day (I think it's Wednesday, but I don't spend much time here), which we refer to as Noobsday.

Read the FAQ and when you find out it's outdated, or that different members have different models, come back and they'll still ignore your questions.
