Are Google results based on location or something?  I'm still getting us as the #1 hit for "flat earth society" even without the "the".  I'm in the UK, though, so maybe other people are experiencing something different..?

When I searched "the flat earth society" we are the top three listings.  When I tried "flat earth society" we are the top two listings (from US location).
