I stumbled upon this site earlier in the week and it has now engulfed my spare time.  It is fairly fun even though some of us are computer illiterate and I was just wondering if anyone else played around on it.

I prefer spending my time learning real hacking, not the popularisation of the term to mean "cracking." You know, stuff that's actually useful for things other than cheap lulz and jail time.

Cracking is a failure of a term because to describe someone as a cracker would be more easily construed as a racial slur than related to "cracking."  Although it's probably fair to say that all crackers are white.
