If the Earth is flat, then why is it so hard to make an accurate map of it?  There's aerial photos of pretty much the entire planet, these could be compliled to make accurate representations of the continents.

I'ts easier to make a flat map of a flat surface, than to make a flat map of a spherical surface.

that is a bad projection of actual distances

I think its better projection then traditional FE map. Here the distance between Africa and Australia is a lot more realistic.

The only problem with this map is the Pacific Ocean. In this model if you want to travel from North America to the Far East, you have to fly due East over Atlantic.

Also in this model, the continent of Hyperborea is due north, Atlantis south, Lemuria East of Far East and it is unknown whats west of Americas.
polar areas are still stretched

and why no poles?

The biggest problem with traditional FE map is that  if you fly directly West of North America (not in a circle but directly west on a straight line) you will reach the ice wall. This is a major problem because the ice wall suppose to be due south. The compass will never show circular west or east.

the biggest issue with the map (ignoring that you cant travel round it for a start!) is that the continents are not to scale. look at greenland, in reality i think greenland is about 14 times smaller than africa.
lets say the earth was flat, because we know the time it takes to travel around the southern hemisphere and then calculate how big it is, we know that the current map is wrong. but drawing the shape needed for these distances seems impossible. i think the best solution is to travel back in time and ask m.c.escher for a sketch as he appears to be the best qualified.

you been to atlantis? oO

My biggest problem with this thread is that you just want them to add land for no reason so it works. You're gonna come in and tell me to stop trolling because you think your idea is genius, however you have to have a REASON to add land. Also, that reason cant be just to make it look right, you need something as a backing to why that land should go there.

i think the flat earth (not infinite one) needs:
a better type of projection
or a way of showing why the round earth distances are not the same as fe distances

we dont need atlantis and such, becuase there is really no zetetist (i hope i spelled that right) evidence for them

Incorrect. I was in Atlantis. One time my vessel was heading south we passed the coast of Argentina and continued due south. Of course we expected to reach Antarctica but to our surprise there was no ice wall and the temperature was not getting colder. About 4,000 miles south of S. America we finally reached a beautiful land, upon landing ashore the natives told us we are in Atlantis.

What is this? I don't even

Forget about Atlantis, I never said I have genius idea. Just trying to see if we can come up with a different FE map.

well, magnetic compasses dont point to fixed positions, they point to magnetic field, fe explains this by having north have one polarity, and south the other

Antichtone, where mammoths still roam, is beyond the ice wall. It is well documented.

Where?

You claim a lot of stuff is well documented, yet you never show the documents.

With all due respect there is no evidence of Antichtone. Actually when I first heard of Antichtone on this forum, I did extensive research on it and found absolutely nothing beyond that what FE society claims.

is woolly mammoths the only life form?
what do they eat so far from the sun?
I thought nothing could survive the voyage beyond the ice wall?

If mammoths can survive , maybe humans can as well?

could the FAQ be wrong yet again?

Those are great questions. This is why in my model there is no ice wall, but infinite paradise continents beyond our little circle.

Hmm...  The only documentation for "antichtone" that I could find is that it's French for "antipode".

Yes there is a way and yes it is new garden of eden, but that dimension (reality) didn't merge with ours yet, we still in the old earth, don't worry the wait is almost over.

Consciousness is the key. It will open all doors when the time comes. Bible calls it faith, when you believe in something strong enough it will become reality.

I also wish someone would make a fictional FE map and show the continents beyond the ice wall.

Why do you want a fictional map?

It seems to me that people should be on a quest for observable truths, not trying to seek comfort in manufactured and imagined lies.
