I have observed the flatness of the Earth.

How is that possible?

How is that possible?

Through a lifetime of careful observation.

Sorry, but no. A hypothesis is a testable belief. Evolution is a theory, which is a tested, proven, and not unproven belief (If there is evidence to the contrary, it is not a theory).
See also: gravitation.

Evolution is really not even a hypothesis, as it's not testable.

Exactly, its not testable, you can't observe it.

Exactly.  Nobody's ever seen evolution.

Yup and that's what I have been arguing on this forum. In return they presented no counter argument besides harassment.

We see evolution all the time. Many illnesses evolve from year to year, which makes it impossible to create a vaccine for them. There are also superviruses, which have evolved to be immune to certain antibiotics. We've tested evolution on flies and other short-lived creatures.

For example, cabbage evolving (not being cultivated) into broccoli and cauliflower over just the past few thousand years.

You probably drove across Kansas on I 70?

I thought you were taking your ball and going home.

You don't need to ban me cause I won't be back.
By eliminating all present contradicting possibilities you would arrive at the present truth. It's impossible to arrive at a future truth.

Yet reason tells me, that if numerous gradations from a perfect and complex eye to one very imperfect and simple, each grade being useful to its possessor, can be shown to exist; if further, the eye does vary ever so slightly, and the variations be inherited, which is certainly the case; and if any variation or modification in the organ be ever useful to an animal under changing conditions of life, then the difficulty of believing that a perfect and complex eye could be formed by natural selection, though insuperable by our imagination, can hardly be considered real."

Notice the last line: can hardly be considered real

And notice the subject:  the difficulty of believing

Was Darwin always this keen on run-on sentences?

It certainly isn't the easiest sentence to parse, so I don't blame Tom for doing so incorrectly at a glance. It actually reminds me of the often-convoluted prose of another 19th century figure.

Through a lifetime of careful observation.

Unless you have been to the edge or been into space (both of which appear to be impossible in FET), I don't think you can say that you've observed the flatness of the Earth.

And which facts or occurences are you noting that lead you to the conclusion that the Earth is flat?

That is odd, as I am observing much roundness at the moment.

Yes.  It's neither flat, nor sharp.

Arguing whether or not flatness or roundness is observed from the seat at your computer is just going to break down into pedantry and hyperbole.

I'm just saying it's impossible to conclusively do either.
