FET generations
« on: March 12, 2011, 06:04:29 PM »
It will be a fine day when most people wake up each day knowing that the earth is flat. These days, many people believe the earth is some sort of spherical abstraction because that is what they have always been told.

I was thinking that this is just a generational phenomenon currently stuck in an anomalous script of RET with an unwitting population participating like actors in a stage play that self perpetuates itself.  One day, the lights will rise and what will emerge is none other than FET back again in the majority to be passed forward to the next generation of people and RET will have completed its current season of popularity.

Developing a coherent FE model would be a good place to start.

There is a convergence of resources emerging and that is an ongoing process. Participation in that task is important with the volume of data present.

Not likely to ever happen, with the current popularity of space flight. More and more people are going into space. When going to the moon is like going halfway across the world, FET will be over.

And too much evidence against FE is gathering. Many new phenomena are being discovered that are incompatible with FE.

And RE is not a new thing.

Too much to list in one post, the following isn't exhaustive
Every science university
Every astronomy building
NASA
Other space agencies.
Airlines
micro-gal gravimeters.
Day/night.
The earths magnetism

basically all of science.

I like your positive attitude.  I sometimes feel the task to be too daunting to complete in my lifetime.

You mean a slightly oblate sphere?

Much appreciated.  I predict that a swell of positive FET influence will take hold and then snowball quite rapidly putting things back into their proper place.

You mean a slightly oblate sphere?

I don't really know what to call it but since it is in the abstract I went with that.

It's a shame that you most probably will not live long enough to witness this fine day that you speak of.

If we all pitch in to prove out FET, the results can be achieved more rapidly.

Popularity of space flight? Out of six billion people on earth, how many went to space? More and More people are going to space? Can you please refer to one travel agency that offers flights to space? I never heard of any besides that fake Russian one. Going to the moon is like going half way across the world? No one ever went to the moon, even conventional sources say that astronauts went to the moon once in the 1960's and since then no man ever made the trip again. All your claims are extremely false.

Richard Garriott went to the ISS on Soyuz TMA-13, this is fact as he is the first computer game programmer into space as a space tourist

Its like with everything else, we are told by news media and other conventional sources that people are traveling into space, yet I don't know anyone who actually made the trip. Millions of people have seen UFO's yet most people disregard their testimony, why should we believe the space flight? Just because they talk about this on TV?

I don't disagree that there are space flights, but they are only available for the select few. Voice of Reason stated that space flight is as common as going on the airplane, I only argued against his statements.

Actually, he was talking about the future. When traveling to the moon is as common as going halfway around the world, the FET will be debunked. It's not hard to figure out when it's written plainly :).

If he was talking about the future then its even more absurd. The fuel prices are going up, soon people won't be able to afford to drive a car, needless to say fly to space. The future of earth is not technologically advanced utopia, but rather a return to stone age. Our education system graduates dumb asses, is this the generation that will make space flight available to everyone? I don't think so. Look around you, these kids are only interested in following twitter and meaninglessly texting each other every five minutes, they are destined to fail.
