I can't see the difference between an adjective and a verb. I also think verbs always have to be transitive.

Leave him alone! They don't teach us grammar in the US.

Hell, I don't even know what a transitive verb is.

I wasn't aware that a rule on signature size existed.
How dare you have the audacity to demand my deposition. I've never even heard of you.

Hell, I don't even know what a transitive verb is.
It's a verb that requires both a subject and an object, like "I bought something" and "I went somewhere".

I wasn't aware that a rule on signature size existed.
I am convinced it falls under the "Abuse of Forum Features" rule.

I don't get why something would be considered the verb. Wouldn't "bought" be the verb??

Yes, he was underlining the subject and the object in both examples.

With bought being the transitive verb.

I wasn't aware that a rule on signature size existed.

So I'm allowed to have as big a sig as I want?

I believe I now have empirical evidence that you are mistaken.

It seems the peoples of TFES have taught me something that all my years of schooling didn't. Not that I am surprised. I was taught by globularists.

Unless CR90's sig has grammatical errors, this has gone far off topic and is irrelevant.

That includes your post, mind you. Seeing how you're part of the forum staff for some reason, do you have any opinions regarding the matter at hand?
