In regards to RM.

I believe several posters have thoughtfully expressed their concerns able Weegee's behavior with spamming every single thread in RM with a post thats average content is literally:

Here is how just one user has put it.

Not only is it causing inconvenience in having to search through four or five pages to find new posts or replies but I, personally, think that it shows the utmost contempt and lack of respect for posters who do wish to make a genuine reply only to find it almost instantly relegated to the second or third page because of Weegee and his desire to occupy the last post in every thread created.

I am aware, as is he, that no written rules have been broken but there are certain norms and conventions of any society that state that is simply not on to disregard and disrespect other members of that society to the extent that he is doing.

Bottom line is it's just plain bad manners and displays an incredible lack of maturity and thought for others.

You basicaly hijack RM, as soon as you log on, to the inconvenience of others. This is neither welcome nor acceptable and, as I have said, displays a blatent disregard of the other users of that forum.

Otherwise your behaviour is adversly affecting other users of this website, regardless of which forum you happen to commandeer, and has to be regarded as ill mannered and offensive,

Weegee has clearly expressed his intent to not stop this behavior.

I believe it is time to do the unthinkable, and consider this bit in the rules.

Random Musings is a category unto itself, and is the least-moderated board on the forum. The rules on Racism/Hate Speech, Explicit Content, Multiple Accounts and Advertising still apply, but all the other rules are basically not enforced in Random Musings. The only exceptions are abuse of the report feature, which is not permitted in any board, and the use of profanity in thread titles. Profanity of any degree is otherwise permitted in Random Musings.


It's possible that at some point someone may go too far without breaking the rules as they are written, and we may have to step in to keep the board fun (e.g. someone mass-spamming loads and loads of topics for days on end).

Personally, I would be in favor of a "don't be a dick" clause, but I also think that it should go without saying.

Unfortunately if it isn't explicitly stated in the rules, users like Weegee will do it.

If it comes to the point where I will be banned if I don't, then I will tone down the spamminess of my posts. However,

I realize that RM was created as a place where there aren't rules (within reason). However, if that means that it's going to be jam packed full of Dann's trite post after post, page after page, then I will continue to avoid it.  I dunno about all this Dino stuff, I've been avoiding it much longer than he's been back.
