Easy way to prove the earth is indeed flat

One possible way to get RET'ers off our backs is to go measure the circumference of "Antarctica". According to a flat earth map, the rock we live on looks like a circle with the north pole at the center and the "south pole" just beyond an ice wall around the circumference of the map. Accordingly, the inner circumference of the ice wall (what RET'ers call the outside of Antarctica) can be measured with the following:
s = r(theta), where s is the circumference, r is the flat earth radius, and theta is 2*pi. This is also known as C=2(pi)r.
Because the observable radius of the flat earth (from north pole to ice wall) is 20,037 km (trust me, I used a tape measure), this puts the inner circumference of the ice wall at 125,896 km.

No chicanery or subterfuge there; this is simple 2-D geometry.

If someone were to sail around "Antarctica", the resulting circumferential measurement would have to be 125,896 km. Clear as day.

This would directly contradict RET, which claims a measly 15,000 km circumference of the "continent" "Antarctica."

Once we successfully measure the perimeter of "Antarctica," we'll be as sure that the earth is flat as we are that an infinite number of tortoises support the earth.

The maths giving his speed at 25 knots was approximate, which you later refined to 22.6. I don't have a problem with this adjustment as 22.6 knots is still blindingly fast for a one man sailboat even in ideal conditions. I don't feel it invalidates my point - that maintaining such a high speed for so long a time under such difficult conditions would be practically impossible.

I have seen those images too and what you are actually viewing are the results of a fisheye lens to photograph the view.   

I have actually been to the top of the burj khalifa, not just witnessed photographs.  On a clear day, you could see the roundness of the earth from the observation deck.  All you have to do to show the roundness is to gather some thread and pull two sides tight so that it forms a straight line.  Move the straight line of thread up so it is parallel to the horizon.  If you look closely, you can see that the line of thread and earth are not parallel and that the earth curves away from the thread.  This shows that the earth is indeed a spherical object since you can physically observe the roundness of the earth.

Note:This can only be done while you are at an extremely high altitude compared to the surrounding landscape, preferably upwards of 600 meters.

Not having been to burj khalifa, I'll have to take your word for it... but just to play devil's advocate here, if you were sufficiently high above a disk, it would also appear to curve away at the edges in this same manner.

Not having been to burj khalifa, I'll have to take your word for it... but just to play devil's advocate here, if you were sufficiently high above a disk, it would also appear to curve away at the edges in this same manner.

My father is an astronaut and i have plenty of pictures and let me tell you the earth is round not flat, ROUND!!, I've been to Argentina several times and been on an Antartica Cruise and really i've never seen that wall lol.

a globe on a planetary scale is not perfectly round, perhaps this is the fatal flaw in the FET argument

I don't quite follow, but to continue your logic, if a person was scaled down equivalently, they would find just as many flat expanses on the surface of the scaled down earth as they would do in 1:1 scale, given the incredibly huge difference in size between us and the earth, no?
