Maybe you can stand in the natural history museum with tinfoil on your head, next to the dinosaurs and tell everyone the earth is flat this would prove a few things about you. (1) darwinism has found the missing link (this would be you) and secondly save you from the radiation of mobile phones because if you decided to take the foil from round your head it may make you smart enough to realise the earth is a globe. MORON!

Somebody who obviously doesn't believe any of that stuff took the time to answer your random questions and that's your response? Cool.

Because you are a bunch of idiots and the poster did not really reply to my questions except to pass them off. I was waiting for a scientific discussion? So my reply was aimed at the person with the contempt it desserved.

You do realize that both dinosaurs and a flat earth can be observed out your window and that the Earth is Not a Globe?  If you disagree with this you will have to spend time on the site getting past the learning curve.  Enjoy :)

Why did you put a question mark after your reply? You not sure? I have spent quite a long time on this site, and i can say quite categorically the earth is a globe.

I only put the question mark there so you would know to think about my question? Keep reading the site. Thank you!

Um... Actually, if you check my previous posts on here, I'm of those who think the Earth is round, the forum is filled with Trolls, and scientific facts and obvious proofs are always responded to here with the deflective BS and conspiracy theory responses. I was just trying to give you a heads up to what the nutjobs on here were going to reply with. I was trying to make that obvious with the whole "conspiracy more conspiracy ILLUMINATI BLAAAAAAAH!" bit. I thought I had made that obvious enough...

I was just wondering why do so many RE people come to this forum and talk all that ish all the time with their stupid insults and empty challenges? Then something hit me, RE'rs are not sure themselves about the shape of our world, so they are intrigued by the flat earth theory. They are too proud to admit that flat earth makes perfect sense, so they come to this forum and talk garbage. Hey guys guess what? If you think FE is a dumb idea and that only idiots believe in it, guess what it makes you when you join this forum and reply in every thread?  ::)

Being a RE person as you call it, I can tell you that my reason for coming here is the astonishing disbelief that a forum like this actually exists! Good Lord, I like a good conspiracy as much as the next person, but the magnitude of what you people are imagining is to say the least, quite ridiculous.Forget the science, just the thought of a conspiracy of this size is beyond reason. I read some of the Conspiracy Compendium or what ever and I think whoever wrote that slightly underestimated the number of people that would have to be silenced, bribed, in the know, whatever. Example: A guard on a 150ft. wall could see maybe 15 miles, so he would cover 30 miles, therefore 2608 men could guard the "ice wall". Well, how far can they see in a blizzard? Fog? His estimates are so absurd it's silly. How about scientists and explorers who have been there and returned? Their families? Oh yeah, and as far as the "guards" on the wall, what about their support? Construction crews for their facilities? I could go on for days but I'm sure it make as much of a dent in these hard heads here as it would on a 150ft. ice wall 3 miles thick! A few names in here to say are fiction for you:      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Antarctica       I guess you,ll say it's all bullshyt right? You poor bastards!

There are much more sophisticated ways of protecting the ice wall. Remember that the Berlin wall also didn't have guards every 30 miles.

He has witnessed the fact of him personally seen and verifying the evidence of a round earth but can't provide it.

Actually, it's more like I no longer consider it worth my time to present it to you guys; I've read enough signs that say "Don't Feed the Trolls" to understand that one shouldn't feed the trolls. Like I said, I usually just come here to be amused by the antics. And observing the circle-jerk of you guys claiming I simply don't HAVE any proof is very amusing. :)

So you don't have any evidence to support your claims?

Didn't think so. Typical noob.

More like I already know, having debated with some of you before, the pointlessness of presenting it.

You have 16 posts of which at least 8 aren't a debate. Your debates must be very fruitful if you can come to a satisfactory conclusion after less than 8 posts.

A nautical mile is (or at least, was) defined as one minute of one degree of latitude.  Also, one know was defined as one nautical mile per hour.  I would imagine that sailors found this handy while navigating the open seas.

The Berlin Wall was about 90 miles long.  Are you saying the whole wall was guarded by 3 Guards?!?!  There were 13 checkpoints in it.

Seen the wall!  In Spain.

To be fair, sometimes what FE'ers say makes so little sense that it's hard to come up with a rebuttal.

Some areas were trapped with trip wires. Anyone who walked into such a wire would trigger a spray of bullets from an automatic gun emplacement, or the detonation of a nearby land mine. Before those were installed they patrolled the area, after that they only defended the checkpoints. In retrospect they were closer than 30 miles but the view was obstructed so they did not visually check all parts of the wall, which was my point.

Why does the ice wall need protection in the first place?  It isn't like deep Antarctica is a tourist Mecca or anything.

The fact that there is an icewall. That is somehow distinguishable from the coast of Antarctica.

I think that you are confused by the term ice wall. Just as the flat earth not actually being flat the icewall doesn't have to be like the wall in a house.
