That seems like a good, historicesque map.
In your opinion is that better or worse than the computer generated one?

So, youre agreeing with something made by a facist cult leader?

Arent you the guy who mocked that guy for using Mcgraw-hill as a source?

Irony...

It depends what its purpose is. The CG map is more visually stunning, and more geographically accurate, but this map may be easier for RE'ers to immediately understand, and its annotation is useful.

And yes, I'm using a valid piece of FE material created by a crazy despot.

That begs the question, does a persons morals and actions preclude his work from being allowed?

For example, do we not take the valuable knowledge from the Rape of Nan-jing because it was a horrible thing.  They disected living people, it was absolutly disgusting in everyway, they spread smallpox and other horrible diseases to the masses.  They learned alot about those two things though

Think about it - very evil people often belief things which are correct. Saying that everything an evil, wrong or bad person believes is wrong is logically falacious - it's like saying "Billy the dog was born with two heads, and since Billy is a dog, all dogs must have two heads".

Retarded political affiliations or religious beliefs and the maintaining of true or sound beliefs are not mutually exclusive.

The Flat Earth map proves everything. Anyone who refuses to believe in the Flat Earth theory needs to re-evaluate their logic and make up their own minds, not follow mainstream media blindly like dogs to the whistle.

Slightly off topic, but I'm the one who mocked that guy for using McGraw-Hill as a source.

Besides according to that map the distance to America from Australia is further than we know it is. How do we know how long? Theres a big f------ cable from here to there.

So you are saying a TRANSATLANTIC cable connects America with Australia?

More or less it does,

Amazing.  I had no idea.  Don't they worry that the wire will chafe and maybe eventually break when it gets bent around the treacherous rocks at the Cape of Good Hope -- in Africa?

No, but a cable going from Australia to North America via the Atlantic Ocean is kinda hard to understand.

Quote
n the Northern Hemisphere, high capacity, low cost information super-highways link North America, Asia and Europe . Australia is directly connected to these information super-highways via the 12,700 km Australia Japan Cable network along a proven historically safe route.
[/quote]

Also, the implication that Japan is in North American is kinda hard to understand.

Uh, I don't follow. It's a long cable that connects our nations.

You've totally lost track of everything you've said.  Go back and read the whole thread again.

You claimed:

A transatlantic cable -- by definition a cable that crosses the Atlantic Ocean -- connects Australia to North America.  This is only possible if  the cable is wrapped around South Africa or Antarctica -- if it went the other way, it would be a transpacific cable.

When we pointed that out, you acted as if there was nothing unusual in your claim, and referred to an article that said that there was a cable connecting Australia and Japan.  Surely you do not believe that the Atlantic Ocean lies between Australia and Japan -- and surely you don't believe that a cable connecting Australia and Japan connects Australia and North America?

SUre, an atlantic cable is feasible, but if that atlantic cable is connecting Australia to North America... well, maybe they just had a lot of extra cable they are trying to get rid of.

im guessing i have to rethink my logic and my eyesight after seeing the curve of the earth in an airplane before.this will be rather difficult.yes, believing in a simple drawing by a psycho religious ass rather than agreeing with my naked eyes what i saw on an airplane window.this may take a while.

Earth and rock. Beyond that, a "blanket" of dark matter - the Universal Accelerator - which pushes the Earth forwards (or upwards, there is no point of reference) generating "gravity".
