I don't consider any god a thing, nor as anything bound by our invented logic. Why should god be?
I saw a slight haze in the hotel bathroom this morning after I took a shower, have I discovered a new planet?

North Korea has the strictest media guidelines. Therefore they must be the most reliable.

And I thought that the archeologist parallel from the OP clip was bad ::)

Well then think of a better argument besides strictest=automatically the most reliable.

Can you seriously not see how demanding more, repeatable, verifiable evidence is more reliable?

So why did god not begin to exist? Why no first cause?

Enlighten me.

So theologians never peer review? They don't let others examine their work?!?

You're also acting as if religion and science ask the same exact questions.

How is science more reliable if God cannot be falsified? Sounds like it would be less reliable since one of its tenets and requirements are violated right away!

It's more reliable because if you can't falsify something you can say anything. As flying spaghetti monster illustrates. Reliability doesn't mean the ability to explain everything, but that which you do explain has is more likely to be right.

So science can't explain everything and doesn't have a say-so in God if God can't be falsified?

correct

and doesn't have a say-so in God if God can't be falsified?

The say-so of science is that there is no indication of a god, but as it can not be falsified or tested we do not know if there is one or not. So according to science you can't assume either way.

What does that have to do with realizing science can't explain everything?

What?  Why can't science explain everything?

What?  Why can't science explain everything?
Because science can't explain the metaphysical.

Science can't explain the abstruse ideas you make up in your head?  Interesting thought.  Do you find nothing wrong with the notion of classifying something as unexplainable then declaring checkmate when that something cannot be explained?

At best, and being generous, it's an interesting thought experiment -- can something be thought of which is unexplainable be explained?
