It really was. I don't understand why so many people on the Internet sing its praises. I think it's a perfect example of what a Tarantino movie would be like if Tarantino had absolutely no talent or style.
Also, I recently watched the documentary Overnight. It's about the rise and fall of Troy Duffy, the guy who directed The Boondock Saints, absolutely nothing for ten years, and then its equally shitty sequel. It's actually a pretty good watch, and I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to know why Duffy dropped out of the public spotlight so soon after he entered it.
