Ice Wall Containment

The atmolayer must be contained by a barrier on finite Earth models of the theory to prevent the various gasses from flowing out into space. One model (now widely discredited) describes that the Ice Wall is tall enough to hold in the atmolayer, like the edges of a bowl.

Then what is the significance of the 150 foot ice shelves in FET?

The Antarctic coast holds in the oceans, and represents the boundaries of our known world.

The Wiki says that the idea of a greater Ice Wall is not currently supported.

The Antarctic coast is not the Ice Wall.

I think

their own gain

is a pretty good (and obvious) reason.
I have no words. There are no words. You. YOU. I. Really. My mind is blown. I can't. What. I. WHAT? How? What?

Sorry about that. to elaborate, I don't think you answered my question. "gain" isn't a thing.
Somebody answer me now. Why does this conspiracy exist? Answer me right now! Please?!
Not- Is the Earth Flat? or Why is the Earth Flat? I just want to know who benifits from this and in what way. It should be the first and most important part of FET

That doesn't sound like a very good way of keeping customers.

This conspiracy is supposedly hundreds of years old, how could they anticipate a need to fake a space program?

I don't believe that the Conspiracy is hundreds of years old.

Then how do you explain all the round earth science, ie. gravity and newton hundreds of years ago.

Evidence?

Read Earth Not a Globe. The bulk of the book is about why Netwon, Copernicus, and and Ancient Greeks were wrong about the shape of the earth.

The book is more wrong than right. For example, it incorrectly calculates the distance between the Earth and the Sun.

I keep on trying to point out that thois illusion would be far too expansive, and if they did end up making a profit, it could not be enough of a payout to keep such a huge cover up going on. Is it's not profitable then why is it benifial to the conspirators?

When and where have you shown that the Conspiracy would not be profitable?

If not he then it has been showed many times in this forum in multiple topics. With equal evidence and provability than theory about The Conspiracy being profitable. It's 50:50.

bribing 500 astronauts, and many more scientists and engineers with $1 million per year. That costs alot of money.

Again a completely arbitrary number.  $68 billion dollars goes a long way to grease pockets.

So, the only hypothesis of why there is a conspiracy I have seen here is that RET generates more research and exploration money than FET, but that this research and exploaration is a gigantic hoax: those who get the money put them in their own pockets. Is this correctly understood? Any more ideas?

No, it most likely has nothing to do with RET vs. FET.  They're probably just assuming that the world is round and fabricating evidence that supports that conclusion.

As far as I can tell the logic is as such

1) We start with the axiom that the earth is flat

2) Therefore there must be a conspiracy

3) Therefore it must have some sort or motivating factor like money but we cant think of anything realistic

Classic FE intellectual contortionism, this is what happens when you start with the axiom that the earth is flat.  It leads to other bizarre ideas like bendy light and celestial gears.

Allow me to re-quote myself from the Japan samples from space thread:

You don't know the motives. (All we get is: Probably money, like in this thread: We can only guess)
You don't know who is implicated. (Governments? Key individuals? Space programs? All of the above?)
You don't know for how long it has been running, or when was it created.
You don't have any leaks, testimonies or documents.

So please, I'll lurk, but give me something to lurk at.
