What's the proof here?  FEers can just produce their maps and draw arrows on it too... In fact, drawing straight lines on a map is more FE than RE.

If you're talking about circumnavigating the globe, they'll simply produce this:

Actually they can't, I already debunked that map.. And time, speed, and distance is a critical flaw in FET. And so is the coordinate system they would have to use. And that is why the RE model is correct.

True that, but it's as acceptable a proof as the original map, which is just as flawed, not to mention the straight lines superimposed upon it. I'm all of convincing proofs, but that just wasn't it.

I didn't think you could explain how it was relevant. Obviously something that appears flat need not be flat. Round object can be projected onto just 2 dimensions.

On topic, the relevance of the map looking flat is due to the fact that landmasses are more easily projected onto flat surfaces because they are in fact flat.

I agree that Pongo's approach is horrible. The scale and distance involved with any image must be considered in any indirect measurement. But you should address that concern to him. Please pay attetnion.
