If the earth is a giant rotating disk, what is controlling the oceans from being spun to the edges?

Is it centripetal force?
Why do we fall back to earth? Because our weight pushes us down, no laws, no gravity pulling us. It is the law of intelligence.

The general consensus among FE'ers is that the flat earth does not rotate.

cetripetal != centrifugal. The centrifugal force is a true pseudoforce - Its what we think to "feel" when we're being pushed into our seats when e.g. driving a turn, it feels like something pushes us to the side, however really the only actual force that exists is the cetripetal force, that pushes us into the turn. I.e. we think we fly to the right side of the car, however really the car is turning left and taking us with it, making us feel this.

And no, if the earth was flat, it better not be rotating. That would be.. well, probably quite funny.

I can imagine all the penguins sliding right off the edge, poor species! Quite simply, unlike pongo's claim to the contrary, no FE model can rotate and match reality.
Keep it serious, Thork. You can troll, but don't be so open. We have standards

The general consensus among FE'ers is that the flat earth does not rotate.

So they think the entire sky rotates?

I'm not sure how far back in history I would have to go to find people that seriously thought the Earth didn't rotate.
How dare you have the audacity to demand my deposition. I've never even heard of you.

I never made any claims about FE being a scam or not.  In fact, I'm an RE'er.  I just think that you are an arrogant jerk than needs to calm down and take this site for what it is.

To come back to topic, I was just using FE logic to backup the claim without any evidence. For FE'rs, "prove that it doesn't!" usually works well and fits into their belief system. So basically I was making fun of FE. I dont actually care whether it was possible to prove or disprove the claim that FEs FAQ is part of "the conspiracy"

Can you show us a few examples of us saying "prove that it doesn't?"
