I don't know. Olbermann and Stewart are a little too biased to get facts from. I usually get news from NPR and opinions from The Daily Show and Countdown.

well, yah. I guess my use of 'anchor' changed the intention of my post. But yee, for sure there are better news services. But Stewart and Olbermann are both right on with nearly everything they say. It's rare that I disagree with either of them outright.

That's the way it works. If you announced you were going to kill 30 people tomorrow by driving on the sidewalk at high speed, you'd get attention. Maybe not by national news agencies, but probably by your community.

He's decided not to burn the Koran, so long as they don't build the mosque at ground zero, and they help his sister move some stuff out of her garage into her attic. But he might burn it in the future if it takes his fancy.

And that's another thing that irritates me about this whole thing.  If the center really was literally going to be built on the site where the World Trade Center stood, then I'd have a problem, not necessarily for the same reasons that everyone is talking about, but simply for the same reason that I wouldn't want a Wal-Mart or a Denny's built there.

No, it makes you illogical. burning a book is just a symbol of disapproval. There's nothing wrong with it. And really, the pastor doing the same thing with the Koran doesn't bother me in the slightest, it's the fact that he resorts to terrorising people who had nothing to do with 9/11, to stop them from doing something which he shouldn't be offended by in the first place. The people who hijacked those planes were, first and foremost, terrorists. Their religious view(And it wasn't Islam) doesn't matter.
