First of all, this isn't a "fake society", you can send off for and buy merchandise, for example.  This isn't an Internet hoax.  And even if this was some giant hoax, why is getting people to argue online such a "douchebag maneuver"?

I can send off and buy merchandise from disney too.  That doesn't mean Eisner believes Mickey is real.

Flat earth theory does not have to be false.  The point is that nobody believes it; they are just better or worse at pretending.  And the purpose of this site is to lure people into a fictional argument.
