First of all, this isn't a "fake society", you can send off for and buy merchandise, for example.  This isn't an Internet hoax.  And even if this was some giant hoax, why is getting people to argue online such a "douchebag maneuver"?

I can send off and buy merchandise from disney too.  That doesn't mean Eisner believes Mickey is real.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with being a douchebag though, you giant douchebag.

No, but it certainly proves that Disney is a real organization.

Yes, they are real organization that does what they claim- make things up.

The Flat Earth Society is not real, in the sense that they do not do what they claim- believe the Earth is flat.

Was Aesop not a real person?  Would him believing in his fables make him a real person?  Does perhaps the Descarten phrase "I think therefore I am" have a novel meaning in this sense?

More impotently however, the belief in a flat earth should have no bearing on the effectiveness of the arguments presented.  They should, as they happen to do, stand on their own merits alone. The sincerity of the arguer should be separate from the truth of their arguments.  After all, a belief is nothing more than a label anyways.  "That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

We are real and we do in fact believe in a flat earth.  I invite you to browse further and ask provocative questions.

They should, as they happen to do, stand on their own merits alone.

They have merits? Could have fooled me, I thought you guys are barely able to even agree on certain issues and the entire "FET" (Even though it doesn't actually have enough scientific support to be a scientific theory) as whole has as many holes as a hunk of swiss cheese.... and shot with an entire clip from an AA-12 shotgun.

True.  However, this is a red herring.  The existence of real fruit does not make an imaginary basket any more tangible.

Inapplicable.  Appeal to grandiose but unrelated quotes much?

Gee, I guess it was a big strain on you to devote a little less than 6 hours during the past 2 years and 3 months. Or, were you busy creating other accounts?

This has possibly got to be the worst thread ever created in the upper foras. And yes, that includes even Kwastas' threads that you can't even decipher.

The Flat Earth Society doesn't exist because you think their beliefs are false? Am I assume the Pope does not exist by that logic?

Possibly.  But moar, this has certainly got to be the most accurate thread ever created.

I will forgive your logical failure as merely a symptom of your inability to read, and repeat myself.

Flat earth theory does not have to be false.  The point is that nobody believes it; they are just better or worse at pretending.  And the purpose of this site is to lure people into a fictional argument.

Fun, but a real douchebag maneuver to those poor internet wanderers whose only crime is absurd levels of stupidity generally reserved for those more unfortunate invalids incapable of operating computers.
