The majority are not anti gun, they are just pro gun safety. Any that are anti gun aren't actually Democrats, they are idiots.

Meh. I'm ideologically anti-gun. I understand the need for them, and the impracticality of rounding up every single gun in existence and then using them to shoot anyone who knows how to make more before destroying them, but ideologically, I think it would be better if we lived in a world where guns weren't around. Among other things. Including electricity. At least without all of our gadgets, we would be able to live here until we evolved into something less destructive.

I'm not thinking back to the 17^th century. I'm thinking back longer. Perhaps tens of thousands of years. What I meant is that civilization as a whole fucked up the Earth. And I'm not really talking about loss of human life here, Eddy. My suggestion would probably decimate the human population to less than 1% of it's original numbers.

I'm getting a hilarious picture of Gayer sticking a newborn under the tap and rinsing it off with hot water "to get all the germs out."

A friend of ours would clean his kids arse when out and about by using one of those sports bottles filled with cold water and squirting that on it.

Meh. Cold water is unpleasant, but at least it doesn't damage your tissue at casual contact.

It says in the baby book the midwife gave me that I should use lukewarm water. And sprinkle potato flour on afterwards if the skin has spots or is broken....I love this book, it finds the cheapest ways to do things. Also it says the baby should sleep outside in the daytime, even in winter.

It's best to use sandpaper, to get a nice deep clean.

Anyway, its changing nappies the father's job? At least thats what I'm saying
