No one that in denial will ever accept a round Earth. They've made a choice to cherry-pick evidence, call "corrupted!" to any major evidence that contradicts them.
It's the same with any conspiracy, you're no different from the 2012 morons. "GOVERNMENT IS HIDING PLANET NIBIRU HURR DURR!" The governments are hiding an Ice Wall? An Ice Wall?! Did you fuck up trying to understand what an ice shelf is?
Suck on this. Real science does not work with the flat earth theory, so you blatantly claim the science is false. How? By stating as a fact that there IS a conspiracy. The conspiracy becomes an evidence for the conspiracy. Holy fallacy, Batman!
I've seen the curvature of Earth, if ever so slightly. I've seen hull-cameras of rockets from launch to orbit, showing a clear round Earth. I've read about people travelling around the world, ending up where they started. I've seen photos of the Earth. I've seen satellites. I've seen eclipses. You can call "fake!" "corruption!" "bribes!" on these, but you can never prove it wrong since all you have is your own assumption that you're right.
I've seen some proponents here disprove satellite photos of Earth by assuming that he KNOWS that the Earth is flat and thus there's no satellites in orbit.
I've seen proponents call video editing on videos showing a curved earth no matter the source or age (yet he would accept any youtube video made by flatMan18272 who's third grade physics can prove that the Earth is flat), some something they call "bendy light" which somehow only appear when viewing the Earth's horizon from high altitudes. A very interesting physical property of light, it changes when you want it to.
Some proponent stating that the Earth's shadow on the moon is the light from the sun, somehow bouncing off of the flat Earth, up to the moon then turns around and hits the back of the moon.
What. The. Fuck. Is. This. Bullshit.
It's evident when looking around here, that the dreaded 10k+ posters have no other credibility than big words and desperately trying to find what they think is logical fallacies with RET's posts or arguments.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if any of these actually were educated in the properties of light, of geometry, anything relevant. But no, their knowledge comes from youtube videos, or studies of which they apply elsewhere to prove their whole theory. If they read an article about light bending through gases or whatever, they freely twist that into "Oh, that is why the Earth can appear curved, since I know there's gases in the atmosphere! Therefore the conspiracy is true, the government is evil, the travel-around-the-world are bribed fakes, astronauts are evil nazis, NASA is lying, GPS manufacturers are corrupted (seriously.), satellites are imaginary", et cetera et cetera.
We know the Earth is round. It has been proven beyond a doubt, by photos, independent travellers, satellites, cameras, high-altitude planes, Earth's shadow on the moon, and so on. You can never prove otherwise by simply claiming that the sources are "IN THE CONSPIRACY", of which you made up yourselves.
I wish I could send you guys into orbit, so you could see for yourselves. But sadly I know that some of you are so desperate and in such a complete denial that you'd afterwards go on about how you must've been injected with hallucinogens, or how the windows must've been curved to decieve you.
