Dude, can you stop just posting links and actually put some kind of thought into the threads you make? Otherwise, you can just post them in RM.
I'm going to side with the white supremacists.

Why the hell should BP have to compensate the countless livelihoods and family businesses they've ruined due to their gross and criminal negligence? They were correct in utilizing almost no safety precautions and neglecting to maintain their Blow-out Preventer; these are pointless measures imposed by a huge and power-tripping government. All they do is slow down oil companies in their noble effort to extract that delicious black gold for us to use.

STOP MAKING MEGA-CORPORATIONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS, 0BUMMER!

I think I've read enough.

Let me guess, Obama is a socialist Nazi who wants to take the world down the path to an all consuming Communist Nazi Party.

Jesus people I don't mind you ranting against your President, but at least learn the meanings of the words "Socialist", "Communist" and "Nazi" before you open your mouths.

The article itself is bawwing over the fact that BP have paid 20 billion into a clean up fund. It was either do that or look like even bigger assholes. They chose to look less like an asshole.

End of world tyranny threat.

This! A thousand times this!

Oswald Mosely would be turning in his nasty, fascist grave if he found out his ideology was getting mixed up with communist ideology.

I imagine the issue would be that they weren't given a trial.

BP Could have said no and demanded a trial. Hey there PR nightmare! How are you? What do we do! Pay some money, talk real funny, the right will blame obama, BP gets hidden by that drama.

Except they admitted they were liable for all damages caused and agreed to pay for everything. This is just holding them to that agreement.

That's what my history teacher said. Then he taught us the political spectrum :D. He was forced into retirement due to budget cuts though :(.

If this was, let's say, fifty percent involuntary on BP's part, the extraction of money from any company doing business in the US would be shortsighted.  Who in their right mind would risk investment in any country where the rule of law can't be trusted.  It would've been much better if BP had come up with the trust fund on their own.

Great, just another lie that America started to make America seem like it has the ability to "overcome tyranny."

Britain ended slavery like 30 years before us, and slavery was going on WAY before we were a colony. Also, any slavery during colonial times is Britains fault.

If you don't have anything constructive to add, and you think this topic is worthless, do not reply and it will not bother you.

Other wise, stop making irrelevant posts which amount to spamming.

Strangely I did. Strangely I was right. Ill-constructed baww against BP having to pay for shitting on Americas beaches becomes even more ill-constructed baww of Obama = Nazi.

I'm sure Obama threatened BP with some form of executive branch intervention if they did not comply with his wishes - and the supreme court has ruled that this is constitutional in the past.
