That was my first thought, although I might be convinced that their quality has increased in recent years. Madkatz also owns Saitek which makes some really really great keyboards (check out the Eclipse series).

Also $100 seems like actually a pretty decent price for that mouse. If Razer or Logitech made it it would probably be closer to $200.

It looks fucking horrible, and seems like it would be awkward to use. I wouldn't know, though. I have big hands with stubby fingers, so I'm not like the average gamer.
