Hear Ye, Hear Ye, the Oracle Speaks!

Wolf Leonardo snarled and slowly trotted up the path towards his first victim's house.  He licked his chops with gleeful anticipation.  Soon the entire village would be overcome by panic when they realized that werewolves were attacking again.

Suddenly-a loud bang echoed, as a rifle shot exploded near Wolf Leonardo.

The werewolf roared, then cast his head about, searching for where the shot had come from.  The shooter was perched atop the house, clothed in black, pointing a musket at Wolf Leonardo.  Even as the wolf watched, the shadowy figure drew from within his robes another musket and aimed it directly at his target.

Wolf Leonardo cursed, then began to flee down the path as a second shot barely missed him.  The next time he hunted, he was going to have to avoid this mysterious sharpshooter.  He would spread the word to his werewolf kin.

Upon the roof, the figure in black reloaded both muskets, then waited to see if Werewolf Leonardo would return.  When no signs of disturbance showed, the shooter tucked both rifles into his dark robes, then stole away into the night.

No kill-the Guardian protected the would-be victim.

It is now day.  You have 24 hours to secure a lynch.  10/19 votes are required.

No, the Guardian is to compensate for the lack of one.

I thought we were going to know who the werewolf was trying to kill.

If I made that public, then everyone would know that that person wasn't a wolf, making them a target.

Dang, nice one.

I didn't think the guardian would prove their usefulness so quickly.

And it would also let the wolf know who WASNT a guardian.  :P

Gayer was probably the one who was guardian'd. I vote to lynch Chris Spaghetti.

Chris Spaghetti [1]
Gayer [1]

Dann, the wolf already knows that the person they tried to eat ISN'T the guardian.

Not necessarily. The Guardian could guard himself/herself.

The guardian CAN'T guard him/herself. It's in the rules, I think.

Guardian

The Guardian is on the side of the Villagers; he/she gets one chance each night to protect one villager (not including him/herself).  The Guardian sends me a PM, and that person will be protected from any wolf attacks that night.

The way that reads he can protect one villager and him/herself. Awesome. The Guardian is invincible.

If the guardian is chosen to be killed by the wolves, he/she gets killed.

The guardian can get killed no problem. They can't protect themselves from being eaten.

If the guardian is Dann and he's protecting Gayer, and Myjafjallajokul decides to kill Dann, then Dann dies.

I guess the wolf sneaks up on him? I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to write.

Supah is right.  If I wasn't clear in the rules, then I apologize, but I'm not really sure where you got the idea that the Guardian could protect two people.

Well then who protects the guardian? Im confused? If the psychic guess who the guardian is, what happens?

I you sure? Cuz it says he can protect one villager, not including himself. I take that to mean he can protect one villager. Not including himself. Therefore he is protected, and he can protect one villager, as it oesn't include himself.

There is no psychic this game.

The guardian can choose to protect ANYONE EXCEPT THEMSELVES. Nobody can protect the guardian.

I'm curious as to what happens if the guardian chooses to protect the wolf who gets to kill that night. Would the guardian notice the wolf wasn't home?

I know the Guardian doesn't CHOOSE to protect himself. He doesn't have to i thought. because he could protect a villager also.

Nope, the guardian is vulnerable to being killed. Otherwise how could the siblings win? They need to kill everyone EXCEPT themselves, including the guardian.

Well what if the guardian protects a wolf from the siblings killing him, and then that wolf kills the guardian, and the siblings kill him? I think the guardian would want to be protected from that, so he would choose himself!
