Bravo, Parsifal, you have just demonstrated that you are an absolute ignorant about astronomy, or that you really believe in the existence of space travel. This photograph was taken either by Voyager or by one of the other space probes that passed close to Jupiter, and took the photo while already farther from the Sun than Jupiter.

I gave you the photograph you asked for. If you aren't going to accept the evidence presented to you, why bother requesting it? The least you could do is provide some justification for your claim that it was not taken from Earth.

If you are going to present a photo as evidence, then perhaps you should provide the source of the photo so that its authenticity can be verified.  After all, we all know how easy it is to fake photographs.

Why wouldn't there be a crescent on Jupiter in RET as seen from earth?  ???

Obviously at some point in RET we'll have to be looking at Jupiter from its side, rather than face on.

I learned in Geometry that spheres don't have sides.

...zing.

And just for sh*ts and giggles, is there anything wrong with the RET model of our Solar System?  Or do you FE'rs just assume it's wrong?

Trolling makes me angry.

Allright, I'll bite. In RET, the sun illuminates the planets, which are spheres in orbit around it. Jupiter is outside the orbit of Earth (orbits at a farther distance than Earth), so no matter where we or Jupiter are in their orbits, we will always see the fully illuminated side of Jupiter. Only the planets Venus or Mercury which pass between us and the sun can ever show up as a crescent. We only see Venus as being completely "full" when it is on the exact opposite side of the sun from us.

You are just taking one phrase and forgetting the context of the rest of the conversation. Do you want to tell us the origin of the photograph you posted, or the lack of information from you is because you know it came from a space probe?

The subject Parsifal is autistic. It can't understand such ideas as "context" and views each phrase as distinct and unrelated.
Gayer doesn't live in an atmosphere of vaporised mustard like you appear to, based on your latest photo.

Or believes he just can play word games forever. When he likes a photograph, he uses it and forgets to cite its origin. When he does not like a photo, he finds every problem with its origin, maybe even declaring it is photoshopped or made by the Conspiracy.

I am still waiting for Parsifal to tell us why a photo taken from Voyager or Cassini is valid evidence of anything, and I am now asking him whether that means that the rest of the data from those missions is also valid evidence.

Hey now, my daughters Autistic. Of course even she laughs at Parsifails silliness, so he must be really low on the spectrum.  The fact that he cant understand the difference between a picture of Jupiter taken from earth and a picture taken By Voyager is funny. Isnt this the same guy that says all of NASA is faked? How did they get that picture he is using as evidence then?

Perhaps he's just saying these things to get a reaction out of people? You know, like trolls do?

Listen, you've been warned about this kind of thing on several occassions, and if I'm not mistaken, you've been banned for it before. If it happens again, I will have to suspend you.

Parsifal, we are still waiting to know the source of your photograph of Jupiter seen from behind.

Why don't we just accept the obvious and declare that Parsifal really does believe Voyager and Cassini exist and gave us the photo he graciously provides?

you would know as you seem to be an expert at it
Then you have provided evidence for the Earth being a sphere
