Once and for all, who the believes in bendy light?

Wilmore don't, John Davis don't, many others don't. Please for the love of god let us know if there are ANYONE left believing. It seems discussions are still going on, but no FE I've seen claims he even believe it.

It's to explain why the sun is so close to the horizon during sunset and sunrise, right?  I think I arrived late, as for my entire time here it's had the feel of an inside joke.  What did I miss?  Did a bunch of them believe it, some obvious flaw was pointed out, and now none of them believe it?

It does matter as it puts a big hole in the FE theory.

It is very relevant. If FE'er does not believe in the possible explanation for something(bendy light), it puts a big hole in there entire belief (flat earth). Unless they have another explanation.

1) RE don't have to continually argue against idiots like Parsifal, or argue against the idea at all.
2) You'll have to come up with another theory.

Stop shitting up my thread. There's one question, adressed to only FE'ers. Don't argue why it's relevant, don't argue you don't care, don't argue it doesn't put a hole in your theory and don't argue why I didn't include something else on the "don't argue list".

He deliberately pretends the disproof was never written in the forum. I don't call ignoring posts that show why it's disproved "pretty confident".

Nope. There's a great raft of optophysics which disproves bendy light. Steve just chose to ignore it.

If you can accept that glass and water can bend light, why can't you accept that our atmosphere can bend light?

It does, just not in the perfect way that is required for FE.

If you can prove that the Earth is a sphere, you disprove bendy light, so bendy light has been disproven.

No, it isn't. I was unable to find any posts from him saying if he believed in either, though I found some early ones questioning the FET.


So far, no one has come forward to say they believe in bendy light. It's currently safe to assume that the bendy light idea is no longer a part of FET.

Because if nobody believes it then it should be discarded completely and the flat guys should get to work on a new theory.

(Unless someone disproved bendy light, which Steven denies) It is a possible solution to a problem with FET. Because people choose not to believe it, that doesn't make it any less possible.

Once a theory is disproved, it becomes less possible. I could choose not to believe any number of proven scientific facts, that doesn't mean my opinion is correct or valid. Beeny light is not a solution to anything in FET because as well as explaining ONE phenomenon it also predicts others which are NOT observed. Therefore the theory of beeny light is demonstrated to be wrong, regardless of how many people want it to be right.

This comment is kind of like when Clay Aiken said it was no one's business if he was gay or not.  everyone knew he was, but he just wouldn't admit it.
