Quick reply is available, it's just not on by default. Look in the options.

What do you mean by "multi-quoting"?

Assuming that Daniel hasn't been assassinated by the conspiracy, he's supposed to be upgrading the forum to a newer version someday.

There are modifications available which has a check box on every post. You can tick all the posts that you want to quote, hit reply and all the quotes will be loaded into the text box.

When posting a reply, try scrolling down and pressing the "Insert Quote" next to the post you wish to quote. Similar effect.

Similar, but not very useful when you want to quote from multiple pages.

Think of it this way, there is thread which has 6 pages. You read it from the beginning and while you are reading through, there are a few comments that you would like to respond to but want to read the entire thread first. With the multi-quote feature you can just simply tick the posts as you go along and once you reach the end you just hit the reply button and it is all loaded in the text box.

While that feature is convenient it also leads to someone joining a thread and writing out a small essay addressing points that have thoroughly left the discussion. The feature tends to bog debates down with small details that were brought up simply as a debate point.
