What would convince you?

Since you FE'ers refuse to back up any of your claims with a single shred of experimental evidence, and instead rely on fabricating additions to your theory as your only form of "proof", I have a question for you:

What, if anything, would convince you that the Earth is round? By that I mean what kind of evidence would you not be able to dismiss as part of this conspiracy?

I really don't think my belief needs to change, to be honest with you.  I'm content with the choice I've made.

Then there COULD arise evidence that would make you believe in a spherical planet?  There doesn't seem to be.  You've said it's impossible to prove that the Earth is spherical and that you are content with your decision, essentially: nothing the opposing side can say or do will ever change my mind.

Been reading the Wiki, I can't find any repeatable scientific experiments on there that prove your viewpoints.

So you're saying there can't be evidence for a round planet, meaning no evidence that comes up would ever convince you of the planet's shape.  Absolutely nothing could change your mind.  In short: we COULD take you into space and you COULD see the curvature of the Earth, and would remain unconvinced.

Proving the Earth is round is not the same as proving the existence or non-existence of God.  We stand on the Earth, we have sent crafts over the Earth.  We have telecommunications systems based on the shape of the Earth.  If we could see God or measure God's effects on the world, we could form an argument one way or another.  But that just isn't the case.  We can however make observations about the shape of the Earth.

I honestly don't believe that the Earth can be proven round in any way that will satisfy a flat-earth theorist.  Maybe once space tourism finally takes off(pun unintended), but even then we'll start to see some bullshit about perspective and conspiracy.

Well, sure, there will always be some apparent curvature when you look at a picture taken with a wide-angle lens.

I disagree with the former part of your response.  I don't see how we could ever know we were truly witnessing God, or His effect on the world.

As to the latter part, we certainly can.  I have observed it countless times to be flat.  But it didn't prove anything.  Similarly, no matter how sure we were looking down on something that appeared to have curvature, we could never know for sure.

You said that you had your beliefs and that it was impossible for anyone to "prove the Earth is round" yet say that it's not because it couldn't be true.  Does that mean you simply don't want to accept it if it is true?

Such an event would prove nothing more than that the Earth appears round from high altitudes.  As it seems a lot of REers like to point out, appearances can be deceiving.  It would do nothing to prove that the Earth actually is round.

Yet the link you gave me says this picture is proof that the curvature of the Earth cannot be seen from Mt. Everest.  And you're wrong.  Check out this wide angle image from a skyscraper.

LOL, I didn't realize you took the picture from the wiki.

On further inspection of the picture with the line through it I don't see how you can possibly conclude that there's visible curvature.  Yes, there are spots where the background rises above the line slightly but there are also spots where it seems to dip slightly below.  On the whole I think the horizon is far too irregular to conclude that there's any actual curvature there.

No, that would not convince me that a round Earth could be proven, and I already explained why just a couple posts ago when someone else asked exactly the same question.
