How do you explain satellite images of Antarctica?

It looks like a single continent.  Are you saying the photographs of Antarctica are made up? 

Let's say we were to fly around the world... okay so on the Flat Earth map we're just going in a big circle sorta in the middle of the disc.  Now what if we were to "fly around" Antarctica.  On the flat earth map we would be near the perimeter of the disc and it would take much longer to fly around Antarctica than to fly around the world, am I right?

Yes.

This is also something they cannot explain, which lead to the alternate map they have.

Antarctica has a set size, it changes during Winter, but it is never as large as what FE states.

Boats travel around Antarctica, they do not travel inside it as if they were in a lake - you would notice if a coast surrounds you or not.

Have you consulted an expert and concluded that those photographs are fake?

If so, where is the data for this?

I believe that Antarctica is a distinct continent (i.e. clearly defined and bound by water), much as it is generally depicted on RE maps.

Exactly. Plus, at least we have thousands of photos (from different sources of course) that shows us what Antarctica looks like, and it definitely goes against the FE beliefs. Not only do we have all the images, we've had and still have the greatest scientists to back it up. Otherwise these scientists would have been FE'ers. It was already agreed and proven with numerous experiments and observations that the Earth is round. Furthermore, to those who think that NASA and dozens of space-related government agencies have doctored (OR photoshopped) their images, edited their videos, etc. Well, if it was SO logical and if it made sense that the Earth was flat, why didn't these agencies just say that it was Flat? They could also provide fake images (as you allege that they do) of a flat earth from the very beginning, and they would have still got the money. Their only problem would be, RE'ers would create bigger groups than the FE'ers now, and we would find our way to collect enough money to do our own huge experiment to reveal the truth. We would try to sail the world one way or another. What we wouldn't do is, sit around and read books that were made by someone like S. Rowbotham and conclude our theory to be facts.

Wilmore has a 1up on you, a distant continent makes more sense than your ridiculous Ice wall - especially if you think it's hiding somewhere in a, comparatively small, continent such as Antarctica.

Exact speeds don't matter, distance = speed x time

At any given speed, the time that it takes make the trip is a lot less than any of your Ice Wall garbage.

Especially since FE says that the border of the Earth is in the region of 78,225 miles, where Antarctica is more in the region of 12000 miles in circumference.


So, give me a speed, it wont matter how fast, and I can bet it wont take as long as you might think to travel around the continent.

OK, how is it that we were able to measure the coastline of Antarctica at 11,165 miles, yet you claim that what we call Antarctica is actually an Ice Wall that surrounds the entire flat Earth?  Here's some more math.  With the claimed diameter of 24,900 miles, the circumference would be 78,186 miles.  Even allowing for some ice area on the outside of the Earth, to get a circumference of just 11,165 miles, you'd only have a diameter of 3555 miles.  And going from the North Pole and heading straight south, that would only get you to Kansas City.
