Curious about Lord Wilmore's sailing around the world
« on: April 09, 2010, 11:05:45 AM »
I was pretty sure that information like this would've known, but apparently there has actually been a FE'er who sailed around the world, and CAN confirm the RE maps inaccuracies.

Can we get some more information about this? Were there other FE'ers with him and who did the funding?

When did it even happen?

Whoever he was, I'd wager they excommunicated him from the FE community.

Yes, because we always "excommunicate" those who bring us evidence that we are right.

That makes sense.

I thought it was obvious, but the person was Lord Wilmore as indicated by this thread title. He said it himself in another thread.

Ha ha, just saw this thread after challenging Wilmore to a game of 'name the port' on the other thread.

If any FEer used the FE map to sail anywhere they'd still either be out in the ocean, dead (after running out of fuel), or speaking Swedish in Spain! Trust me, no FEer that I've seen on here knows the first thing about sailing and because of that they'd have to ask the boat's navigator and then would call him a conspirator when he doesn't give them the information they want to hear.

I'd suggest they produce a working map soon, or give up.

Well, Wilmore is claiming that he have sailed the world and can verify the inaccuracy of FE maps. He must be basing that on something.

I know you've seen this thread, Wilmore. Don't ignore it. This could easily be a huge breakthrough for the FE theory.

Mostly in this thread:
http://www.theflatearthsociety.org/forum/index.php?topic=37651.100

HE'S FUCKING BEEN THERE!  He's sailed those differences and can verify firsthand the accuracy of the maps.  What more do you want?  Do we need to send you on that voyage?  Are we going to need to drug test you afterwards so you know you weren't hallucinating?  Do we need to drug test you now?

What if I told you I've been there, and that I can verify firsthand the inaccuracy of the maps. Are we even now? Who's right and who's wrong?

Hey, how come everyone takes EarthISroundISproven at his word, but I have to augment my claims with additional information? Gee guys, I get the feeling you don't believe me. How come you believe him?

Well, he knew about geometric (geonomic whatever) projections, listed some, and provided a few distance between ports.
While this is not conclusive, nothing really is on the Internet.  I could tell you that I'm a US senator and you only have my word on the matter and that's all we really have to go with.

So for me, between a guy who started off claiming to be a sailor, talk about maps and how they keep accurate distances vs someone who, eventually, said "what if I did all that too?" I'm going to go with the guy who presented me with sailing knowledge first.  But that's just me.

Stop memberating. Furthermore, given that you're asking me for this information, I hardly think it's 'derailing' if I ask why. Newsflash: you are not King of Earth.

Well I am a Lord.  Does that count? :P

Anyway, if you claim to have sailed around the world, surely you must have access to the same type of data that other mariners have.  IF it's easy to get then you should be able to give it to us as easily as you expect others to put forth their information.

How can I possibly be derailing this thread? It is about, and is addressed, to me. Moreover, I am discussing the topic at hand.

Where did you sail to?
How long did you sail for?
What type of boat did you use?
What are the inconsistencies that you witnessed?
